Audrey grinned and nudged me with her shoulder. “Those were the good old days, weren’t they?” she asked, sounding surprisingly wistful.
I raised an eyebrow at her. “And here I figured you were having your good old days now, and that’s why you haven’t been back to North Carolina in so long. What have you been up to anyway?”
