It almost killed me. “Nick, slow down” “Girl, I am on my way to your house. See ya” He ended the call and I couldn't stop laughing. “Mummy, are you mad at me?” I pulled him close to me and hugged him. “No, I am not, my love. I have not been very happy lately, so it is normal for me to pass aggressions, sorry Baby” He kissed my cheeks and we smiled at each other. After a while Nick arrived in his car, and he was jumping with excitement when he saw me.

"A good neighbor is a present help. If you let my son use this place as his playroom, wouldn't he be just like your grandson? "With the addition of a grandson, you'll have more support later in life. You old fool, how can you not understand this?" I raised the knife and swung it once through the air. "If you don't leave right now, believe me, I'll chop you to pieces." Shirley stepped backward again and again until she finally retreated outside. I slammed the door shut. Her shrill, annoying voice was finally cut off. I'd lived in this apartment for two years, and the neighbors next door changed as often as the seasons.

"I'm sorry to disturbed you. I just move in next door so I was giving away some cake and want to meet my new neighbors." She saw the box of cake and it was from a well-known shop too but she is still hesitating to open the door. The man senses it. "Oh pls. I'm not a bad person, I just want to get acquainted and friendly to my neighbors." The man smile again. "Jewel, who's at the door?" Her dad peeked at the door and stand next to her. "Hi, Sir! Good afternoon. I’m Michael or Micky for short. I’m your new neighbor."

He was confused and so was Nick. Tyler sent them a tight smile as he held out his glass of whiskey and took a sip from it. His face was expressionless just like most times. Turning toward the men, he said in an overly bored and dry tone, his voice lacking any interest. “And that is my next-door neighbor, people. Shouldn't we be excited?”

His deep, low voice said. Jade gulped again. Ohh, that voice- it's so deep. Imagine how it would sound right beside her ears and.... "Stop it." She yelled at herself internally, shaking her head. "Hmm." She cleared her throat, "Hi, I'm Jade, your neighbor next door. Welcome to the neighbourhood." She said, forcing a smile. Her neighbor looked like he wanted to say something but didn't. He stepped back, his gaze shifted to the cake on the table, and he nodded before returning his gaze to her. "Nicolas." He said.

And it's almost laughable because she keeps saying that and doesn't do anything at the end. “I'm not stalking you, Ivy. I live here, just wanted to say hello and — please don't be too hard on this new neighbor,” I tell her and watch her face drain of color. For a few heartbeat, she just stares at me like I've just cracked one hell of a bad joke. She opens her mouth to say something but clamps it shut, when she opened it again, I was faster. I glance at my watch and retort. “I have to go, I've got a meeting in ten. Please extend my hello to Aria, have a good day, neighbor.” There's a smile in my voice as I say this and Ivy was even too stunned to reply back.

After that, I put my hair into a high ponytail and jog down the stairs, ready to greet the supposedly hunky new neighbor. "See you later mom!" I call through the house, as I make my exit. I walk towards the gray house where the moving truck is now leaving. As I'm waiting for the truck to drive off I'm starting to wonder if this is such a good idea. What would I say anyways? 'Howdy doody neighbor! I live right next to you, welcome to the neighborhood!' Cheesy. And if he's never seen The Simpsons that would end up very embarrassing. 'Hey! I'm Piper, where are you from and what brings you to my neighborhood?' Cheesy and nosey. Shoot ... I needed a plan now, or an exit strategy.

And then, as if suddenly recalling himself, he spoke, his deep voice rumbling through the air. "Hello, my name is Gage. I'm your new neighbor." Nicole's gaze snapped back to his face, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment as she realized she'd been staring. "Oh, yes, hello," she stuttered, trying to compose herself. Gage's eyes sparkled with amusement as he nodded at her. "Our landlord said you might have something for me?"

I clench my fist as he nods and walks away from me. I take off across the street and head towards our street. Walking up to the front of the house. I’m approached by one of our neighbours, a woman. “Hey, is your friend ok?” she asks as she pushes her chest out. I smile at her and look into her eyes. “Yes, she has had a difficult few weeks. Please don’t concern yourself, Miss?” I look at her and she chuckles. “Louis, Nicole Louis, but everyone calls me Nicky.” She holds her hand out to me and I just look at it. Placing my hands in my pockets.

A loud bang on his door caught his attention, rising above the din. He pushed to his feet and walked over to the music player, turning it down a notch. “Who’s there?” he yelled. “Your neighbor,” a cold, menacing voice returned, and it took Nico only a moment to recognize who that voice belonged to. He scoffed, running a hand through his hair as he strode to the door. He pulled it open to find Theo, the rude neighbor, standing there with the perpetual frown between his eyes. Nico coked his head to the side, his lips tilted up in a small smile. “What do you want? It’s somewhere around 4am, you know?”
