"Oh, my Honey." I watched as Honey's tiny arms wrapped around his grandpa's neck before she kissed him on his face. "Hello grandpa, nice to see you," she said pulling away. "Don't cry grandpa, you're getting ugly." she wiped the tears away from Mr. Yoon's face making him laugh aloud. "Grandpa, can you let us in so that I can see dad because this witch here blocking us from getting inside."

Upon getting to her front, he leaned over her desk and whispered into her ear. “ Be prepared. I'm a devil and I will be willing to show you to hell.” He smirked darkly at her and walked over to his seat for the next class. Ellie, Prince Killian's girlfriend, glared daggers at Nicki who simply rolled her eyes. Just when Alpha Prince Killian wanted to take his seat, Nicki spoke up. “ Thank you for the invitation. I'm willing to go to hell with you. I bet it would be fun.” She said aloud for everyone to hear.

"Good morning." And with that, she turned to continue the rest of the distance across the road. 'Oh, no you don't!' Nick thought. "Miss Cooper!" He called with a smirk. He still had a trick up his sleeve. "Alright then. See you at work." He almost giggled when she shot him one of her flaming looks. "One more thing!" He called again, halting her. "Say hello to your uncle on my behalf when you get to the other side of the street." Her expression changed immediately.

watering the plants in the garden. I can't stop scratching my head. What was on Nicky's mind and he suddenly watered... at night... while it was misting? Has he gone completely insane? Nicky was just staring at the plant so he didn't notice me. Shaking my head, I approached the woman. "Did you get a cold head?" I love Nicky. He didn't care and turned to me before smiling. My heart skipped a beat because of that smile. "Hello, husband! Welcome home!"

The friend chuckled. "See you at the club." Nick slacked his tie and proceeded to call the next person. "Hello?" A soft voice answered. "Hi sweetheart." He smirked. "It's Nick. Meet me at the club tonight?" "I haven't seen you in days." "I know Babe. Come on. Meet me there. Call a friend." She hissed. "Or you can be greedy." He chuckled. "Come alone then." "Okay." "See you at eight sweetheart."

Neighbors must have called police about the explosion. "We have to go," Trina said. They grabbed what they could. Essentials. Money. Fake IDs. Out the back door and down the fire escape. On the street, they blended into the crowd. Just another family out for a walk in the rain. Three blocks away, Nickey's phone buzzed. Unknown number. He almost didn't answer. But something made him pick up. A woman's voice. Familiar but older. Colder. "Hello Nickey. Or should I say Daniel? You've gotten sloppy, son. I thought I raised you better."

Her once-rounded belly had shrunk, and her eyes hollowed with sickly pallor. Suddenly, I remembered that long-lost Ragdoll cat. “What are you here for? “Julian must have told you. The apartment next door that he gave you was purchased with marital assets. It’s now been awarded to me. “You have no right to stay there anymore.” Ivy’s eyes no longer held their former superiority or defiance. She knelt before me and pleaded. “Clara, please don’t misunderstand! I’m not here to cause trouble. I’m here begging for help!

she added and walked off immediately. She was not ready to make friends with her new handsome neighbour whose back and hair looked similar to the man who just broke her heart. “The agent was weird, now my beautiful neighbour is weird… maybe this a place for weirdos” He said to himself, looking around. “Helena, let's get in” He said to the little girl. “Okay dad. Who was that lady?” The little girl asked. “Our neighbour, Helena, now let's get in without more questions sweetheart”

He was observant enough to notice something funny about me. “Birthday yesterday? You mean Nex? Single mom with different-colored eyes?” I became puzzled by the question asked. “You know Nex?” “We’re neighbors. Right next door to each other,” he answered. “If she has a friend like you with her, I guess it will help make things easy on her.” “What do you mean by that?”

A man opened the door and smiled. “Good evening sir, do you remember me?” He asked politely. Nathan allowed him in and gestured him to sit. “I don’t forget I encounter, Neil, right?” offering him an orange juice. “My mom told me you live…. Our new neighbor, it’s really good to see you again, sir” he smiled. “Always thank you for saving me, I’m very grateful to your sir” He stood and lowered his head. “Thanks, but it’s okay, sit, my name is Nathaniel Bernard, you could call me Nathan. We can drop the formalities since we’re neighbors now. We’ll be seeing each other very often.”
