Not sure why. Maybe I just miss our late-night chats. Our sweet, funny, sometimes intimate conversations... The connection we used to have... I mean, the guy was sort of my emotional support boyfriend while I was dealing with Dominico and his impulsive decisions. I miss Angelo, even though I don't wanna admit it. Not even to myself. Maybe he's still upset that I didn't meet up with him. That I'm no longer sending him any photos and videos. And that I put an end to our secret dating agreement.

Nico smiles, taking the toast from her hand. "In the middle of this chaos, you want to go on a road trip?" Gianna shakes her head in amusement. "It's the perfect time to go on a road trip. Or do you have any plans with your little boyfriend?" "Ashton is not my boyfriend, and I do not have any plans." "You might not be dating him but he's dating you. Anyways, it's good for my plans so." Nico bites on the toast. "Hold on, is that why you encouraged me to work for the Mayor because it helps you and your plans?" Gianna gasps.

I didn't have the energy to argue with anyone let alone cut through red tape so I called Angelo again. " Blue I am outside the wing and I am looking at two huge men who are giving off serious vibes . Where are you ?" " Are you wearing my grey hoody?" " Yes ." " I can see you .We have new guys and Nicolai went with Gia." Angelo appeared from behind the glass doors and the men moved out of his way. I looked at him and immediately I knew that something was offish. He gave me a hug and a kiss and we walked inside . As soon as we were outside the cubical and there were no men in sight , we sat down and he started crying on my shoulder . All I could do was comfort him because he was inconsolable.

He murmured, his voice low and dangerous. Her body went still. Then his voice dropped lower, laced with venom and promise. “By the time I'm done with you, you'll wish you never said …I do.” Angelo placed his hand on the small of her back, pulling her closer in… closer than fear, closer than escape. He leaned in, his smile picture perfect for the cameras. “Now kiss your groom,” he murmured. Then…. His breath ghosted over her lips before sealing the moment with a kiss… cold, calculated and final.

I bursted into laughter, strolling into the room lazily. “And I thought I was the hormonal teenager amongst us?” I teased, my lips curling in a smug smile as I sat on his bed. “I didn’t know you were into sex too, Cugino.” “Shut up, Ivan!” He growled, rolling his eyes, “Why are you here? Your boyfriend finally let you out?” He shot back knowingly. “He is not my boyfriend!” I snapped, my jaw tightened in annoyance. The idiot knew I didn’t do relationship, most especially with a dangerous man like Cristiano. He raised his hand up in defense, his expression mirroring mine.

"So... are you finally ready to send me that video?" My smile instantly vanished. "Angelo... please don't tell me you're still bringing that up?" "What is your issue with sending me a video, Sarah? I'm your boyfriend!" his voice rose, sounding irritated and deeply impatient. "I've been away for a whole year now. Is it really that hard to pleasure yourself on camera and send it to me?" Angelo had been my boyfriend since our junior year of high school. He was the first, and only, guy who had ever seen me naked.

Seeing everyone’s attention turn toward us, Nico stepped closer and lowered his voice. “I know you’re upset, but today is an important day to announce the Luciano family heir. Be sensible. Don’t make a scene. “I promised to marry you. Don’t get carried away. I won’t go back on my word.” I almost laughed. Make a scene? Even looking at him felt like a waste of time. “You’re mistaken, Don Nico. I’m staying here.” Nico looked at me as if he’d heard a joke, his gaze sweeping over my clothes with disdain.

Hardly he leaves my side. I don't know how but I start liking him. The way he cares for me. It is make me special. But I know this dream will never come true. Nick will never loves me back. He is just protecting me. After he caught the Hunter Sullivan he will go back at his place. I will again become his personal assistant. And he already has someone in his life Angelina. I saw talking with the girl everyday. He becames the most loving person whenever he talked with her..

Slouchy, sarcastic, sweet. Nicolas looked and sounded like a storm in human form. Quiet. Dark. Powerful without trying. And he still hadn’t stopped looking at me. I cleared my throat. “Um… do you want breakfast? Or a donut? Or—” “Anna,” Daniel interrupted, stepping between us like the human shield he apparently believed himself to be. “Stop flirting.” “I was NOT flirting,” I hissed. Nicolas’s smirk told me I very much was. Daniel rolled his eyes. “Whatever. Nico, this is Anna. She’s been my best friend since we were like five. She’s basically our sister.”
