At first, I assumed it was another vision but this felt way too real for it to be anything but. Being able to see earth and other planets from where we were standing felt… weird. Unnatural. Unbelievable. Then I thought… are we dead? It’s said that our souls return to the moon to be reunited with our goddess but I couldn’t imagine the two of us biting the dust just because our wolves marked each other. No. Something was going on here that was completely out of our hands and we were just along for the ride. “What should we do?”

Adam replied with an obvious smile. I paused. I then looked into Adam's eyes. "After you leave this room, please erase all your memories of this night or morning. Pretend we haven't met today, and don't make any suspicious moves. We agreed to this." I held out my hand in front of Adam. Adam took it, shaking my hand as proof that we were going to forget what had happened that night. "Mahira!" called a voice from outside. "Mahira!" the man shouted again when he didn't hear my reply from inside.
