So after an hour, four squads pile into four Strykers and five Humvees and we make the slow drive to our location. The boys are amped and they are ready to go, but they do not know the location except for four people. Slow as the minutes crawl slowly in anticipation, I feel like I can nearly fucking die. Lab Perimeter – 3 Minutes Later Black SUVs screeched to a halt outside the facility's concealed entrance, their armored hulls gleaming like beetles in the pre-dawn darkness. Armed men spilled out like shadows given substance, their movements coordinated with the precision of operators who had conducted this type of raid dozens of times before. Night vision goggles and tactical gear made them look less than human—death walking on two legs, equipped with the latest in military technology and utterly devoid of conscience.

“This is Officer Ludwig, badge 4935, requesting backup at the parking lot between Sergio’s and Club Nocturnal.” Nate growled and got an arm free, punching him in the jaw but the officer didn’t budge, holding him pinned to the sidewalk. It seemed to kick in the adrenaline and I turned, stumbling as my leg was having issue just holding me up. Racing around the corner, I ran down the sidewalk along the street until I crossed the street, not caring about traffic that may have been coming.

Cushion was yet to see the security footage and sad that she was deceiving her. “She is so obsessed with the past that she's now making up fake scenarios just to get people to believe her.” Mrs. Cushion added. You should hurry up and head back to the headquarters. Jackson Sanford is coming.” At that moment, a Rank 1 Evolved One walked over and said to the Kutcher Squad 2’s leader. As soon as he finished speaking, the Rank 1 Evolved One ran off.

James Although the snow is deep and thick, a lot of traffic has been up and down the normally peaceful mountain road. I jogged and caught up with them. “By the way, where are the other squads?” I asked Niko as I fell beside him but Resha answered my query instead. “They are on secure and recovery duty,” Resha replied, turning to face me. “Adonis’ squad is securing the southern border in case the girl tries to escape and Kyra’s squad is planted in the surrounding area where the girl was spotted in case we need any backup or extraction,” she put up two of her fingers beside her face and nudged them forward, “We are the strike team, the go team.”
