That Night At Room 412

That Night At Room 412

The lock finally clicked open and I stumbled inside, kicking off my heels. The apartment was dim with the curtains drawn. I headed toward the bedroom, already reaching for the buttons on my blouse. That's when I heard it. A soft, breathy moan coming from my bedroom. The sound women make in movies when they want men to think sex is good. My blood turned to ice despite the fever burning behind my eyes. My feet moved forward even though every instinct screamed at me to run. The bedroom door was already cracked open. I pushed it wider. The scene before me didn't make sense at first. Damien, my husband of three years, was on our bed, the bed with the navy sheets I'd changed just this morning. But

Shadows of the night

Shadows of the night

Afterwards I decide to go back upstairs and rest for the remainder of the evening. Night falls, and with it a thunderstorm stirs up. Lightening cracks and for some reason outside of my bedroom, I swear I see sinister red eyes peering in at me. Feel like it must be the exhaustion of the day. I close the blinds, turn on N*****x. I feel dread again as a precaution. I make sure the house is locked up with the deadbolts he installed. I also lock my room to make sure I am extra safe. I snuggle up with a blanket and put on the TV. I change my mind about N*****x and put on “Discovery of Witches” on A****n Prime. Wishing I could find a man like Matthew.

One Night With My Neighbor

One Night With My Neighbor

By Friday evening, a storm had settled over the city. Rain hammered against the windows while thunder rolled across the sky. I had just finished making tea when the lights flickered once. Then twice. Leo looked up from the sofa. “That does not look good.” “I noticed.” The lights flickered again. Then everything went dark. I heard Leo stand. “Are you okay?” “Yes.” “I will find some candles.” “I know where they are.” We searched the kitchen in the darkness until I found two candles in a drawer. I lit them and carried them into the living room, where Leo had already moved the coffee table closer to the sofa. The room looked different by candlelight. Softer and quieter. The storm outside seemed

One Night Stand

One Night Stand

It was already 10:00 AM, and Liam was standing outside the door. How on earth did I sleep so deeply? I stood up and called out to her, but I got no response. Last night, I kept using the fake name she gave because didn’t want to get her spooked. But not anymore. I’m using her real name this morning, she needs to know that I know everything. I checked the bathroom and balcony but she wasn’t there, I couldn’t even find any of her things lying around. It’s right to assume that she had left this room while I was asleep. I guess she meant it when she said that she wanted this to be a one-night stand. I don’t usually sleep this deeply, I guess I got drained last night. I was hoping to have a few w

Alpha Erik

Alpha Erik

We had bigger things to deal with, and if we wanted to survive the night, we needed to ensure we killed these things before they brought more beasts to our door. That was another good thing about killing them; the smell of their blood being spilled would ward off any more attacks for the night. Nothing wanted to play with something deadlier than itself. These dummies were just their pawns to see whether it was worth the trouble. I silently slipped down the cabin's roof, jumping off it and tucking my head as I landed on the ground and rolled into the shadows of the trees. I didn't waste any time as I pulled out a dagger and headed for the first beast. These were probably the biggest I fought

Mrs Magnolia
Don’t let the price of the chapters fool you, these are the longest chapters I’ve ever seen. The price is well worth the amount you’re receiving. One of the best books yet, not only does the author do a wonderful job telling the story but also keeps you intrigued the entire time.

Love how this story is written. I have read the entire series and I can say it is a whirlwind of emotions. Alpha Erik is the first of the five book series and it stole my heart from the start. Definitely worth the read! Big chapters too!

Off-Side Love With My Best Friend's Brother

Off-Side Love With My Best Friend's Brother

It showed a large king-sized bed, a wooden nightstand, and a girl lying beneath a heavy duvet, staring directly at a glowing smartphone screen. It was a live stream of the bedroom we were currently standing in. The angle was looking directly down from the plastic casing of the smoke detector on the ceiling, perfectly framing both my bed and Dani’s sleeping form on the floor. A second later, a line of text popped up beneath the video feed: “You found the dummy camera downstairs, sweetheart. Did you really think I’d leave my favorite room unmonitored? I’m watching you breathe. Turn off the light.”

The Art of Life and Love: The Second Symphony

The Art of Life and Love: The Second Symphony

Dillon woke with a start as he felt Tony's phone vibrate and play the muffled song 'Down with the Sickness' by Disturbed. As usual, it failed to cause Tony to even stir. The guy really could sleep through a nuclear holocaust. As he let out a big yawn, Dillon gently patted and rubbed Tony's arm. Still nothing. Finally, he was successful when he shook his entire arm until Tony groaned awake. With a huge stretch, he rolled over onto his back while Dillon flipped over to face him.

Twin Moon

Twin Moon

Bingo. I stepped out of the door and onto the narrow walkway. There were more doors on either side of this one. Probably more bedrooms. It’s a little after three in the morning, so I assume everyone is sleeping, those of them that aren’t on night patrol. Opposite me was a waist high wooden railing. I stepped forward and looked over it. I could see parts of the second floor and another set of stairs that I assume leads to the first floor. I'll get to that soon. I have to clear the top floor first. I crept along the wall, keeping far enough back that I couldn’t been seen by anyone that happened to look up from the second floor. At the next door I paused and listened. I could make out some soft

I’m glad this book looks like it’s finally finished. I’ve been looking forward to reading it as I have enjoyed the other two. Just wondering if you are going to bring out the audio version too? I prefer to use this option. Please please please

Beyond Night

Beyond Night

He wondered where the villagers were . *** When dawn shone through the door of the Fogou, August snapped awake, stunned that he’d slept much at all. He gazed about the inner chambers of the Fogou and noted that all who’d survived the night, slept. Most snored. True, their fear had been high upon entering the underground chamber, but their bodies—so exhausted from battle and the struggles of the mind to cope with it all—had given out. “Are they gone?” Malitus voice called out, sober and soft in manner August hadn’t heard before then. He did have a tinge of the brew Porcius had found on him, though. Desperate times call for desperate measures, he supposed.

Days of the living Darkness

Days of the living Darkness

"I see, now you are here, a child vessel will be needed because that's where your comfort lies." "That's why I need to get going." "Don't worry about that, I can provide the necessary things for you, as well as the needed ritual." "What do you want in return?" "A certain man who can't die by my hand needs to die." "Consider it done." DAYS OF THE LIVING DARGNESS In a small, partially damp room, Prince Richard washes blood off his hand in a bowl of water after then he towels his hand with a cloth by the side.
