The Nightmare

The Nightmare

POV Sammy I let what Cash's friend and Locke had told us sink in. If they were telling the truth, Kitty was in more danger than we thought. This trip was only going to take a couple of days. Luckily, the Vampires had a road system cleared the entire way down since they had been clearing roads since the start of the Nightmare. They used them to find humans that wanted to be turned. I realized that they were probably taking some humans to feed off of since we all needed blood but I didn't want to think about that part. I couldn't.

Susan
Really engaging story with an interesting take on the usual werewolf themes - hope you are able to update soon though as I’m dying to know what happens next! It’s been a while since the last one, hope everything is ok with you

Great book. Well paced, intriguing characters with very solid world building. My one qualm is that there are, at times, too many characters. Often there are a lot of names being thrown around and its hard to tell who's who.

Nero Nights

Nero Nights

A smile washes over my face as his rough voice floods the space, and I can just imagine his tired, haggard face. “Because not only are you the weapons manufacturer,” he continues, “you’re also a Nero. And you’ve managed to bag the only other Nero in the galaxy they know about. I think you could stand to learn a little humility, Nova.” “Slag, Edan, you’re alive!” I say, relief flooding through me. “Are the others okay?” “What the void, Nova?” Zayne’s voice speaks through the overhead sound system. “You can’t just go and disappear like that and then make a major outing on The Black Hole of Truth. Are you trying to give everyone a slam heart attack?”

Enslaved By The Cursed Alpha

Enslaved By The Cursed Alpha

Our enemy could strike anytime. Nonna and I had just finished parking the car for the night, looking forward to a peaceful evening at home. The sky was adorned with shimmering stars, casting a gentle glow upon the surroundings. As we stepped out of the vehicle, a sudden, ear-splitting bang echoed through the night, shattering the tranquility of the moment. Panic instantly gripped both me and Nonna, our hearts racing in unison.

Night Wolves

"Before I kill you." "Rush Balista, Leader of the Hunter Warrior Clan." He smiled as he took a step forward. "Now, you... are... mine." He leaped for me, but I grabbed him by the collar and threw him through the sliding glass doors. Glass crashed outward with him, splintering into the living room as Rush fell backward off the balcony, followed by his partner. They both flailed their arms and legs in the air as they fell hard onto the grassy courtyard. They got up, and then other members of Nightshade saw us and pointed up. They started climbing the side of the Compound, headed toward us, roaches crawling after fresh meat.

Rise of The Fallen

Rise of The Fallen

I raked my hair through my hair trying to figure out where he could be when a truck pulled up, Todd was driving like a maniac, Commander Ryan in the passenger seat. “Get in!” He bellowed, and he didn’t have to tell us twice. We jumped in the bed of the truck, crouching down immediately as Todd stepped on the gas. There was a stream of vehicles racing out of the base, heading straight West, which would be the direction Devon and Usel would have taken. The drive was long and already felt like it took days instead of hours. Cassi’s hands were clenched tight around the tailgate, her knuckles white and eyes wide. She was on high alert, as was I, as we got closer the sky was dark; not with clouds

Wrong Night Stand

Wrong Night Stand

Lily Following all that had just taken place, he merely left me in bed and proceeded to a different location. I went to sleep; I was really worn out and exhausted from everything, but when I woke up, I didn't find him in the mansion, so I decided to go ahead with my plan, which was to use the sex recordings as a sort of leverage against him. I was very exhausted and drained from everything. I slept. After everything, I was at an extreme point of exhaustion and fatigue. As a consequence of everything, I experienced feelings of extreme weariness and exhaustion. In point of fact, he disclosed to me that he had some for me, and he threatened to make my life a living nightmare as a result of supp

My Running Nightmare

My Running Nightmare

They would never get the chance to meet. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jesse looked at his watch. It was midnight. Renee should have been home fifteen minutes ago. He went to the front door and opened it. He was worried. It had started snowing and sticking to the ground. Maybe she was just driving slower due to the weather. He closed the door and went back into the living room. He picked up his phone and called her. It just rang until her voicemail picked up. Why hadn’t she called him to tell him she’d be late? And why wasn’t she picking up the phone?

Dirty Valentine’s Secret

The "Winter Fortress" was now a "De-materialized" memory. As Ethan Hawke led Aria and Thomas out of the Blackwood Lodge, the "Total Sector Whiteout" greeted them with a "Kinetic" wall of ice and "Acoustic Noise." The temperature had undergone a "System-Collapse," dropping to a level where "Analog" breath froze before it could escape the lungs.

he said. I opened my mouth, but I couldn’t say anything. Nico’s eyes flicked back to me. His expression was unreadable, but it cut me anyway. “Dad,” he muttered. Then his gaze locked on mine again. “My new stepmother?” he asked, voice slow and almost mocking. “Pleasure to meet you.” Liar. There was no pleasure here. Only fire. And I was already burning.

Torn by Obsession

Torn by Obsession

The City – Nightfall The remnants of the inferno were still visible as smoke drifted lazily from the charred ruins of Rafael’s training compound. The building had been destroyed in a ruthless strike—a powerful message from an enemy who had no hesitation in making her presence known. Sophia stood on the edge of the debris, her gaze unwavering as she surveyed the destruction. The scent of burnt wood and metal filled the air, but it wasn’t the smoke that weighed heavily on her heart—it was the note left behind by Isadora Virelli.
