Chapter V

I looked at my group taking a break, Emperor looked at Grace “still worried about me using my life force?” Grace asked the Emperor. Emperor nods “yes I do Grace, you use your life force for your powers, I worry that you might lose your life” Emperor explained. “I see Emp, I’ll try my best not to use too much of my life force” said Grace. Emperor looked at Kronika “Kronika… the antagonist of Mortal Kombat 11, I can’t believe you have changed” said Emperor. “Times changed throughout Planet Harmony so much conflicts during the infamous Storyline War, that what made Planet Harmony it is today” Kronika explained. “The infamous Storyline War, I knew that event very well. Characters fight against the enemies and bosses from their game franchise, it was chaotic” said Thorn Rose.

“I know fighting against all characters from their game franchises was tough and tiring not mention people were worried about me pushing my body to its limits” I said, cleaning my X-Blade. Mankey cuddles me from behind “you really like to interact with me a lot despite your lacking ability to talk” I said, Mankey grunts with a smile. “This is will be tough for us as a group, were on our dealing with Corona” said Kronika, “right Kronika all our allies here have been ensnared or brainwashed by Corona Virusknife. It will be the toughest mission yet not to mention my friends have been silenced due to Emperor” I said, swinging my X-Blade. We are currently in the world of Splatoon, Shattered Inkopolis is the city centre. Leftover remnants from Emperor’s bomb that was detonated codenamed Killswitch, right now we must save the characters from each of their respective game franchises/games to weaken Corona’s Forces or else Planet Earth, my home won’t have a fighting chance and crush Corona” I said.

“Right Inkcanius” said Cetrion, I looked to see Corona Virusknife “well, well, well looks like the bitch has made her presence” I said. Corona was angry “Inkcanius, impossible I thought you turn your backs on this worthless planet!!!” She shouted, “Worthless!? This is my sanctuary that you fucking took over with an iron fist!!!” I shouted with determination, “anyway there’s no way you can take back your worthless world” she said then attacks me head on, she laughs that she thought that she won,  but she looks to see me wielding my X-Blade blocking her attack “I’m a resilient one bitch!!” I shouted before striking her, then I jump back creating distance between me and Corona. Kornika was amazed, “You don’t have guts to stop me Corona!! I’m Arnold II Alviar AKA Inkcanius and I created this world with my own two hands, and now you’ll feel the wrath of this planet’s creator!!” I shouted then starts attacking Corona.

Corona tried to attack back but I was far too quick relying on my parkour and breakdancing skills to the test “Okay I have never seen Inkcanius attack like this” said Thorn Rose, Corona tried to attack me but I did an aerial screw dodging her attacks, Kronika can’t believe her eyes “this Inkling can fight” said Cetrion, then I struck her with my X-Blade. Corona weakened, she retreated, “You’ll regret stopping me Inkcanius!!” Corona shouted with rage. “Looks like Corona won’t give up her ambitions” said Cetrion, “I know Cetrion but we can stop her no matter what” I said, swinging my X-Blade. I then sees a drone coming out of the fog and I immediately recognised it, “Pearl… she’s here” I said, going in my defensive stance. I know for a chance that Pearl might be under Corona’s control but her drone was fine and no signs of brainwashing, then I looked at top of a building to see Pearl the only character that didn’t got ensnared by Corona. 

I was shocked, “wait Pearl wasn’t ensnared just yet” I said, “Inkcanius!?” said Pearl, “Pearl you’re okay” I said. “What happened?” Pearl asked me, “Corona took over my sanctuary, first we must save our allies then stop Corona for good” I said as I look at Pearl jump down til she lands on the ground. “Pearl were you followed?” I asked her, Pearl looked at her surrounds “no I wasn’t followed” said Pearl. “That’s good we don’t want to be ambushed at a dire time like this” I said, stretching my arms.

Suddenly Inkcanius heard a voice coming from the fog “Mother is that you!?” she said, I look to see a young servant wearing her Fate/Apocrypha attire, I knew this servant right away “Jack the Ripper!!” shouted with shock. “Mother… thank goodness you’re okay” said Jack. I hugged Jack the Ripper with a smile “same with me Jack” I said, as Jack and I broke the hug, I asked Jack “were you followed?”.

“No I wasn’t Mother, your sanctuary in tatters because of this usurper named Corona Virusknife” she said, “I encountered her and I defeated her but she won’t back down without a fight” I said, swinging my X-Blade “you fought against the usurper and won!? Looks like we have a fighting chance” said Jack. “That’s true Jack but Corona will get stronger as this war of my sanctuary continues” I said, “that’s right Mother for now let’s take a break” said Jack.

“Good idea Jack” I said, stroking her. Jack giggles, Kronika was amazed to what she just saw “a servant based from infamous serial killer from Britain that brutally murdered five innocent women and Scotland Yard had failed to catch him. This version of Jack is the collective conscious of children that didn’t have the chance to be born” said Cetrion. “That’s Jack for you in the world of Fate/Grand Order.” I said, seeing Jack riding on my back.

As my group walked back to Deepsea Metro. Jack the Ripper my personal and favourite servant from Fate/Grand Order looked at Kronika “Kronika, the antagonist of Mortal Kombat Eleven. I never knew that the antagonists would be helping Mother” said Jack. As we arrived at the Deepsea Metro, Karuji was taking care of the injured and wounded.

“We just bumped into Corona” I said to Karuji, “Corona, okay be careful she won’t back down from a fight” said Karuji. “We must save your sanctuary Mother” said Jack the Ripper, “I know Jack and we will” I said spinning his X-Blade. “Let’s hope so” said Jack the Ripper.

I looked at Thorn Rose washing her hammer,”I know for a fact that Corona attack my sanctuary while enjoying life back at Planet Earth” said Thorn Rose, “true but that’s all in the past, now we stop her” I said.

I turn to see Cetrion, “a lot of people don’t like what Corona has done” said Cetrion, “you make a valid point Cetrion” I said, then I looked at Kronika “It will take a long time to stop Corona but it won’t be easy” she said, I nodded.

“It won’t be easy Kronika but we can stop Corona, but first we must free all the characters that Corona brainwashed” I said. “Good idea Inkcanius” said Kronika. I look at Mangey Tails nuzzling my leg “well aren’t you adorable” I said. Then Mangey Tails jumps on my shoulder “cute boi” I said, Mangey smiled, then he growls “don’t worry Mangey Tails we will save everyone” I said.

I got up, and walked outside. I turned to see Mangey Tails jump on my shoulder, “you really like me do you Mangey” I said. Mangey made a cute sound with glee. “At least you’re cheering me up while my sanctuary suffers by the hands of Corona” I confessed. Mangey Tails kisses me on the cheek, “thanks Mangey, right now Kronika wants me to find supplies in what remains of Shattered Inkopolis” I said, Mangey nods “we are packed and ready to go” I said, so Mangey and I left Deepsea Metro went back up to the surface of Shattered Inkopolis to find supplies.
