I long for the sweet release of sleep, yet I dread the torment that awaits me in its clutches. With each passing moment, I grow more desperate, clinging to the faint hope that dawn will break and free me from the clutches of the nightmare. But as the night wears on, that hope fades like a dying ember, leaving me adrift in a sea of darkness and despair. Alone and haunted by the ghosts of my past, I resign myself to my fate, knowing that there is no escape from the horrors that lurk within the depths of my mind. And as I surrender to the darkness, I can only pray that someday the dawn will come and bring an end to the endless night.

I had been hounded by nightmares, gnarled reflections of everything I feared most and everything that made me insecure. I had tossed and turned, my mind conjuring up dark scenarios where Alpha Blake turned his back on me, leaving me alone to face the unknown threats lurking around us. OLIVIA'S POV NIGHTMARES- Those far-off melancholic dreams one have filled with darkness and so many other sinister things one couldn't dare mention. I want to scream, to fight, but the words catch in my throat, swallowed up by the darkness. And then, just as suddenly as it began, the nightmare fades, the shadows peeling away, leaving only silence and the faint light of dawn creeping in around the edges of my consciousness. I wake with a start, gasping, my heart pounding against my ribs as if I’ve just run a marathon.
