Nightmares Stories Novels & Stories

Morning light filtered through the small window of our hut, soft and golden. For one blissful heartbeat I thought the forest, the beast, and that wicked tongue had all been a nightmare. Then the memories crashed over me. The glowing red eyes. The massive black body between my thighs. That long, rough tongue dragging through my folds, curling over my clit until I was shamefully wet and gasping. The way he had loomed above me, hot breath on my skin, claws the size of daggers, and the terrifying moment when I had felt the blunt, enormous head of his cock nudging at my entrance—thick, burning hot, far too big—right before darkness had taken me again.

It made no sense. I pulled up to the house. Nathan came in yesterday. It was nearly two in the morning, and Nathan should have been asleep or at least trying to sleep. I parked the car in the garage. I saw the night nurse, Zora, on the phone. She looked up from her phone, wide eyed. “Oh, dear God! There you are. Did you get my texts? I’d been texting you for an hour!” I looked at my phone. There had been a dozen texts from her. I hadn’t been able to see them with my phone locked away in the club. “I’m sorry, I wasn’t able to get to my phone. What is it?”

The clock struck 1 am, adding to her despair. Feeling lost and overwhelmed, she crouched down beside a sleek black car and unraveled into sobs. It had been an unsettling night, filled with one of her usual nightmares that had left her sleep-deprived and disoriented. Whenever she woke up from the terrifying dreams, snippets of different scenarios flickered before her eyes. Some involved a haunting accident, while others featured a pulsating club party. The visions overlapped in her mind, creating an indistinguishable mess that she couldn't shake off.

He continued to drive without being aware of an oncoming car, and due to the fast driving, their car was thrown on the road just as hard. ------ ''Dad!'' Gideon gets up soon after the nightmare. That was not a dream. It really happened ten years ago, yet it is still fresh in his mind. His head is still throbbing from the hangover. "Damn, my head," he mumbled as he gently arose from his slumber, and he was surprised when he turned his sight to the woman sleeping next to him. "Sucks, what did I do again?" He asks himself as he stands up and puts on his boxers and pants.

The day that you've thought about often, but never quite like this . I'd imagined a heart attack. A stroke. Choking on my own vomit. With a random stranger's hands wrapped tightly around my throat as my coke-addled veins screamed not for life, but for just one more hit, just a bump of powder, just a little one, anything, please fuck, I'll do anything, please. I never imagined I'd be standing in the living room of an apartment that existed in an underworld dimension, created by a demon, who was about to hand me over to another demon to honour a centuries-old debt. I mean, because what the actual fuck , right?

“How do you know?” Raven’s eyes glowed faintly with reflected aurora. “Because she’s calling for me.” --- Global Dreamspace — Nightmare Bloom Shadows rose like smoke along the horizon, their forms shifting, trembling with human fear. Nightmares made manifest. Faces twisted by guilt. Memories stained by wounds. Traumas long buried clawing their way into the shared dream. Sophia stepped forward. “No — not like this.” The nightmares surged, not malicious, but desperate — the unprocessed pain of billions seeking release all at once.

Rosie and my mother had already gone to bed after waiting for some time while the pack members were not informed that I was coming back today. After a bit of chit-chat about the search and the progress, we all decided to head to bed. Lucas had agreed to not tell anyone about my nightmares which was a relief. I didn’t want to bother anyone by letting them know about it. In werewolves, nightmares aren’t something common. Nightmares are an indication that the person’s wolf is trying to take over their subconscious or the incident leading to the nightmares is weakening the person and his wolf. In my case, both things were happening but I also knew, I would survive. With my mind lingering on all

NIGHTMARES. A very bad or frightening dream. Anna was starting to lose count of the number of nightmares she’s been having since Josh’s death but whenever she woke up with one, clearing her head with a jog had been working well on her. She lets out a sigh as she turns sideways to stare at the mini alarm clock she had next to her bed. The time read 6:00 am and she hated the fact that she had to be awake at this early hour of the day.

A lullaby hums in a voice not your own Sung from the mouths of the buried and dead A faceless thing grins in the wide doorway Stretching its arms, your escort inside Your name is etched on a tomb with no grave A jagged whisperer, an icy brace Your heart beats loud, but not for long Run, run, but your feet won't move The darkness wraps its chains around you I said grin forms in the blackest shade Time runs out, and so will your veins The bells don't toll; the clocks don't chime Only the sound of the end of time Your Shadow melts your hands turn cold The nightmare sings as it takes hold I'm sorry to say, but this is the end Your breath is stolen; no need to pretend A door creaks open; the void
