Nina said smiling, her and I walked by her side, entering what she called her tent, which was basically an old white, well now somewhat brown, sheet draped on top of two trees, it suited for covering her when she would change or wanted to sleep, but in reality, it was obviously not a tent. There, in a thin blanket that she used to cover herself when she slept on the ground, were a few dresses, pants, different corsets, shirts, shoes, slippers, even low heels, though why she had gotten those heels confused me as none of us could technically wear them, being in the forest, they would simply get stuck in the mud, which proved them useless. “Did he change from the last time we saw him?” Nina ask

Esme explains. I look at the two women in lingerie who just walked into the room. “Yeah… this is… real.” “Oh yeah,” she says, nodding. “Ready? Oh, you sure are ready,” one of the girls says to Mr. Naked Guy. Esme is still leaning close to me, talking in a low voice. “I just want a way in that hasn’t been done before.” We watch as the naked man and one of the lingerie girls discuss angles and how to start. Suddenly the girl spots me. “Oh my god… hi, are you Nina Blake? I am Nina Flake.”

July seemed enthusiastic about the idea. "Huh?" Really, Argus looks stupid with his current expression. "What do you mean by blind marriage? Will the guests wear blindfolds like a masquerade party or something similar? Or will the entire wedding hall be pitch black?" Whether the thought of a new idea for a marriage concept is too good or her mental health was depressed due to the pressure of the situation, Argus was dubious for a moment.

I don't know what baby pants are. Nina turns back to Thalia and puts on some gloves. She takes her out of her crib and walks her to the open-plan bathroom placing her on the counter. She slightly pulls down Thalia's pants "Aww baby mama sorry," she says and I try to figure out what's happening "I forgot to put on her diaper last night," she says turning to me and I chuckle remembering last night's incident. I'm pretty shocked we didn't wake up with headaches. Playing mimosa pong because Nina doesn't drink beer was an interesting choice of events. I learned that Nina is a lightweight which is strange for a person who mixes scotch and vodka.

Nina “Hello, Nina,” the Luna said. She wore all white. Even her hair, her eyelashes, and her eyebrows were pure white, and her skin was as pale as a ghost. The only bit of color on her were her red eyes, staring out at me with disdain. But while her eyes glared coldly at me, there was a smile on her face. I felt as though I was looking into the face of someone who wanted nothing more than to kill me.

Her face looks like a trophy that could not be torn or even stained with dirt. Nina's wearing a gray turtleneck that she partnered with an overall jumpsuit so she can hide the bruises on her arm and body. Her make-up is also quite thick so the redness of her cheeks and darkening of her eyes will not be obvious. "Good afternoon, Hayes." She greets him, she's trying to act natural and trying to ignore the pain she is experiencing every time she moves. His face was serene and bright when he entered but that changed as he stared at her properly, she couldn’t determine what he was thinking but he seemed to notice her condition and she didn’t know how he found out about that.

My eyes blink twice with her sudden questions. Nina is extremely shy yet she is too straight-forward. And sometimes her questions catch me off-guard. "Nope, if I forget them then that means it doesn't bring importance to me." And it should be this way. I wouldn't like remembering any embarrassing stunt I make when drunk. "O-oh…I s-see…" I fail to notice her trembling fingers as she pushes the butt

Not a question. "I don't know what—" "Fire escape." She tapped the glass. "Third rung squeaks. I reported it last month. Maintenance hasn't come." She turned. Sunglasses off. Gray eyes. Clear. Focused. *Seeing me.* "I've been blind for three months, Yan. Cornea transplant. Sixteen years of darkness, and now I see everything." She stepped closer. "Including you. Standing there. Pretending." I stood. "Why?" "Why what?"

I wiped the cold sweat from my forehead, desperate to just grab my backpack and disappear into the shadows back to Jordan’s secure loft. "Emberly. Please just wait a second." I froze. I recognized the voice instantly. Nina stepped out from the shadows near the employee break area, pulling her thick winter coat tightly around her shoulders. Her face was pale under the flickering yellow light of the alleyway streetlamp, her eyes wide and red-rimmed as if she had been crying in the employee restroom for the last hour. I did not move toward her. I kept my posture rigid and defensive, channeling every ounce of masculine aggression I could muster to maintain my disguise.
