She started as she looked at a page that had a picture of a person standing there with tails similar to the one that my mate had, only difference is that he had 9. "This here is called a Gumiho." She said pointing at the picture. "Come again?" I asked confused. What the hell is a Gumiho? "A Gumiho....or better say, a nine tailed fox. It says here that a Gumiho is a mythical creature that appeared since the beginning of life. However, unlike most creatures, one Gumiho is born every 100 years. They are very powerful and top all creatures in the food chain." "So you mean to say that my mate is a rare creature?" I interrupted. Alexis just nodded.

When looked at from above, it looked like the shape of a dragon, so it was given another nickname called 眠りの竜 (Nemuri no Ryu), also known as 'The Slumbering Dragon'. "Yes. Because forest wyverns are common monsters that could be found everywhere while nine-tailed fox are rare magical beasts that could be found only at Yashima." I told her. "…You do know nine-tailed fox is rare, right? Not to mention the rarest golden one." "I just want to be sure whether is that a dream or a memory fragment." I murmured. "Then… I will take lots of photos with Ruby when I travel there." "…Please don't. It would only stimulate my desire to go there."

Stanley and Yaksha couldn’t help but squint. They followed the light and saw a white fox tail on the ground not far away from them. It was covered in blood and looked like it had just fallen off. Yaksha seemed even more shocked as he quickly took a few steps back. “That must be the demon fox’s tail. Nine-tailed foxes have nine lives. Each time they die, they’d lose a single tail. It means that it had already died once.” With that, Yaksha looked at Stanley in excitement. “This means that somebody saved the children! No, to be more accurate, it might be another demon or a god.

The second one had the head of a bull and the body of a human. Its sharp horns were stained with blood, hinting at its unusual nature. The third was a nine-tailed fox. It was said that foxes grew an additional tail every thousand years, increasing their cultivation and lifespan, and nine tails represented the peak of its power!

Laney's initial appearance was that of a beautiful and graceful woman with a slim figure and radiating charm. However, her entire body now bore layers of long fur. Her once lovely face extended into a long, pointed shape, and her slender hands gradually transformed into sharp claws. In no time, Laney metamorphosed from a beauty into a giant white fox with nine tails. The white fox howled toward the sky, leaped into the air, extended its claws, and fiercely pounced on Noah.

All that I see is my five-year-old self, just with different hair color and… and… Ears and tail. When I look at the mirror like this, all I can see is my mystical ears and tail. Judging by the looks of this boy, he still has one tail which makes him a young Kitsune.
