Ryan's POV As I stood at the brink of the cliff, the wind was harsh and chilly. The river thundered beneath me, its waves smashing against the rocks. Like the storm inside of me, it was wild and noisy. The doctor's words, "Six months left," kept coming back to me. We have run out of options.

Could it be I fought this one before? “ Witness the power of the Azrez Naga Tribe!” He yelled, his eyes beginning to change. The white of his eye turned golden, the blue replacing to black. “ Now, face the wrath of the Tribal Trait of the Naga, the Nintaijin!” White lightning engulfed the man, causing Kronos to back up in shock. His hair was no longer white but pure black, the blue in his eyes turned gray and presence he emitted was strong. As he approached, anyone that got close to him died on the spot due to how loud and powerful the thundering sounds he was emitting were. "LONG RANGERS!!" the Prophets yelled, and all the Nihon long rangers turned their attention to Shin and started firing. But it yielded no positive result. It didn't matter what they threw at him, it didn't matter how powerful it was, as soon as Shin snapped his fingers, it was repelled by thunder. Soon the Prophets had to step in to try and stop his advancement.

I had my own murder I was planning on dragging out with Charlie, so it was only fair to let him play out his own. I still flinch when blue streak pulls the trigger, and the syringe spirals through the air right at Nate. "Nope." He grins, and in the blink of an eye, has grabbed the vial from the air and smashed it in his hand. I can feel unease in the line of shifters in front of us, even though there are three times as many of them as there are of us. And so far, Nate is the only one making them uncomfortable. "Do not let them pass!" Blue streak calls to the other shifters. They nod, and close in a little tighter, each pulling guns from their pants.

I say and smile sweetly even though I feel like I could explode any moment. "Enough. Let's wait for a few minutes before you try something else." Charlie says. "Okay." I say and sit on the ground. Jasper brings water and I drink it in one gulp. After 5 minutes, I get up and focus again, without telling anyone. I focus on the tree and imagine that if something were to happen to aunt sara and my only way to save them was to run. It sparks something in me and I take off like wind. Unfortunately, I crash into the tree .

My movements were slower than they should have been, hindered by healing injuries. But I pushed through, focusing on technique rather than speed. The warriors watched for a few minutes. Then one of them, a female wolf named Zara who’d lost her brother in the Stormclaw rescue, stepped forward.

They know I was with the Blue Storms, but I have no idea how much detail they actually have. If I tell the truth, I’m a traitor. If I lie and he catches me, I’m dead. I try to find a middle ground. "I don't know," I whisper. I try to sound small and confused. "I was in a vehicle with some rogues. There was a chase. I got hurt in the crossfire, and the Blue Storms took me in to fix my wounds. They said it was a mistake."

Beside her stood Ivander Gale, the Wind Seeker, his calm demeanor betraying the hurricane-like powers he could summon at will. To Elysia's right was Raiden Stormcaller, a master of lightning and thunder, whose electric presence crackled with power. The lightning tattoos on his arms seemed to pulse, hinting at the destructive energy he could unleash. Standing next to Raiden was Mira Watersong, known for her water-based abilities and the tranquil aura she carried—deceptively so, for she could flood a battlefield in moments.
