"What the—" Ryder burst from the tree line first, Callum and Lucas right behind him, all of them charging at full speed. Jasper shoved me backward onto the bench and his body began to shift—muscles rippling, fur sprouting, claws extending. But it was more than a normal shift. His eyes blazed with unnatural brightness, his frame swelling with impossible strength. "Grab him!" Ryder shouted, lunging forward.

He revved his chopper, a deafening challenge that echoed through the jungle. Dax didn't flinch. He hit the manual switch on his Phase-Gauntlet. The iridescent blue aura wrapped around his fist, a silent reminder of the power that had cut a Prime Forge in half the day before. The Revers leader cut his engine. The sudden silence was heavier than the noise.

I mutter, hatred still flowing through my veins instead of blood. I wrap the garrotte wire tighter across my hands, getting into stance as my eyes follow a subtle movement from the bushes. The signal is a howl from Ryker. Ragnar has us all briefed. My hands are covered in a pair of knuckle dusters. I had my leather jacket over my gear, which was actually a crop top and slick black pants that allowed me to move around, a utility belt with a series of knives strapped to it, and military boots. A howl sounds some distance in the front, just at the same time a group of rogues leap out of the bushes.

Jason thought to himself as he sped up. Jason did not appear as soon as he heard the voice. There were countless towering ancient trees in the forest, and Jason hid himself on the treetop. Looking down, he saw an empty space. It was really a human, or rather, a savage. He was at least two meters tall and extremely sturdy. His muscles, which looked like horned horns, gave off a wild power. He was carrying a fierce tiger on his shoulder. "What?" Jason gasped. “How could a savage kill a tiger?”

Chaos erupted as the forest floor transformed into a battleground of epic proportions. Ryan, one of the supreme god destroyer's most formidable members, unleashed his control over the trees, bending and twisting them into monstrous, thorny whips that lashed out at the clan leaders. The forest itself seemed to turn against them, its once serene beauty replaced by a grotesque mockery of nature's power.

Could he beat firearms? No matter how fast Tyr was, could he dodge bullets with his speed? If he could dodge one bullet, then what about two? If he could dodge two… then, what about an AK? “Thunderbird!” Kirin yelled. Raising his voice, his shout reverberated throughout the entire Purple Bamboo Forest. In response, countless red dots appeared from all four sides, aimed at Tyr and the other fighters. Kirin’s eyes were red as he shouted, “Kill him, shoot and kill him!”

Then I felt an arm wrapping my shoulders, I was about to punch the man who did that but it was Prince Zane. I can't show him disrespect. I looked back at Rhyker who had an emotionless face right now, clenching hard his fists. This was the first time I saw him being furious.
