The rain continued to fall on his skin , helping him wash away all the anxiety and worry that had possessed him the moment the portal closed . Assistant Lan's words brought some sense back onto Diego . He was irritated to the core that the dragon king had touched Charlotte , he was worried about her being at his mercy but most of all , he was angry with himself because he could do nothing to rescue the girl he loved .
