Chapter Nine (Saraya's POV)

Dane grabbed the intruder by the front of his chest and completely lifted him off of the floor, causing him to dangle in the air. I gasped. The man couldn't be less than six feet six inches. Dane was a few inches taller and even though the man was also bulky in size it appeared Dane was stronger as well. The man grunted and struggled as he brought out a charm necklace and dangled it forward in Dane's face. Something about the necklace gnawed at me. It was as if I had seen it before and when I looked at my fingers, a memory of me weaving the leather chain and preparing the elixir I poured into the glassy gem-like pendant played in my view. It was a diamond, a pure white diamond. I blinked and the images disappeared into thin air. My chest heaved with shock.

"You stole from me?!" Dane snarled.

"I found it in the woods," a deep low voice emitted from the man, he sounded gruff and breathy.
