"What do you want? How can we help you? One of the warriors who usually used to be in charge of asking questions, asked them. "This is the Night Stalker Clan border right?" Ashina asks, just wanting to be sure that she was in the right place before telling Him what brought her here. "So you weren't even sure of the territory you've come to! This is the Night Stalker Borders and for you to be allowed, you need to tell us your mission here since you don't seem to be one of us". Ashina sighed deeply as she glared at Neon who told her to speak up.

She nods waving me off as I take off frustrated that I had almost learned her big secret. As I run toward the eastern border, I hear that there are half a dozen rogues fighting our warriors. We only have two warriors on the border patrol, with a couple more rotating between the various borders. Wendy is one of the warriors on the eastern border having just gotten out of her cell time. As I come upon the scene, I see two rogues attacking each warrior. I could feel the others close but not close enough.

The baby was quiet, a tiny spark of warmth that kept her heart beating through the exhaustion. We're almost there, she whispered, her voice cracking. Just a little farther. She looked up through the dripping canopy. Ahead of her, the trees began to thin, giving way to a jagged, rocky gorge that marked the absolute boundary of Blackridge territory. Beyond that gorge lay the Neutral Borderlands, a lawless, rugged expanse that belonged to no single pack. It was a place populated by rogues, outcasts, and those who wished to disappear from the strict, suffocating laws of the High Council.

“You appear pressed. Has something occurred?” He did not waste time softening it. “Two border guards failed to report at dawn. Their patrol route ran along the northern boundary. We have sent search riders, but visibility there is poor.” The northern boundary. Stone-cut ridges. Sink ground. Weathered shelves concealed beneath scrub growth. Liniluna was already seeing it. “They did not stray,” she said. Kael’s gaze sharpened. “You sound certain.” “That terrain discourages wandering.” She considered only a moment longer.

No time for anything but forward motion. Shecrossed the frozen lakes carefully, testing each step, terrified the ice would crack and swallow her whole. Her reflection stared up at her from beneath—a haggard creature she barely recognized. When had she become this broken thing? Beyond the lakes rose the hills that marked the border between Ashworth territory and the lands held by the Nomadic packs. The Nomads were allies to the Ashworths, bound by treaties and mutual profit. If they caught her, they would drag her back to Deimon without hesitation.

I can feel a nudge in my mindlink and I open my mind ‘my King, we have news, there is a group at the border front saying they have come to offer assistance but they are not of our kind’ ‘I am on my way’ I leave the safe zone and shift, taking off through the fighting and head to the front border at the main gates.

MADDIE POV We race to the border, hoping to get to Black Lake in time to help Alpha Pierre’s warriors. During my momentary observation from the eagle’s eyes, I could see close to a hundred wolves, possibly more, making their way to his Eastern boundary line from no-man’s-land, the unclaimed land between our territories. And the wolves I saw clearly didn’t look sickly and weak. They looked strong and healthy, a much more formidable force than the last group we fought.

Rogue attack at the south and east border , Orion and I rush to the balcony to jump , we both shift in mid air . " Len, I'll go to the south border , you go to the east," he says over our mind-link as he lands on Onix’s big paws . ‘ Ok , Orion Yanrah is at the south border shadowing ‘ I say back as Jewel sprints in the other direction . " Ok stay safe my love," he says before shutting off the link . It takes us six minutes to reach the east border , I could feel the excitement coming off Jewel .

When I didn’t say anything, Lucas spoke on my behalf in a smug voice “She was handcuffed by Zade’s men before I intercepted their small smuggling operation” At the mention of Zade, his mom went rigid and turned her back to me to look at him “What are you talking about Lucas? They tried to go through our borders? What the hell for?” she asked warily. He gave me a sly, evil smile before he said casually “No, not past our borders, they were sneaking through the mountain between Snow and Alcan to avoid being caught by us. They were going to smuggle his virgin prostitute before we ruined his little joy and killed his men”

Someone that too easily crossed borders. She had chosen the Hellwooder and it looked like she was finally happy. She didn’t have doubts. If she would have had doubts, she would have contacted.
