Nathan drove all the way to the rogue alpha’s pack lands, on the way he thought of nothing but his mate. Anita, he was tired of all the challenges they were facing and just wanted to be with her, he wanted to have her in his arms and for her to tell him that everything was going to be alright, that they were going to be alright. When he got to the pack lands he noticed that the pack lands were now claimed and had a boundary showing but there was no one guarding the borders.

She had already passed the borders at this point and was heading towards the pack grounds. Nina had run for five minutes before she noticed that something was wrong there. She had long passed the borders yet she had not seen or encountered any Warriors. It was strange. The Mountain Pack she knew did not have lax security. Except for emergency situations, the whole borderline would be safely guarded by the Warriors. Anyone who wandered in would be stopped. Yet, she had not seen anyone. It was worrisome. Nina stopped at some point and looked around at the quiet woods again. She was vigilant.

Alisha's POV The regional warriors came through the gate sixty seconds later. Eight of them. Full authority. They'd been staged at the border since the two-day window of Joshua's call, Nathan's coordination. They'd waited at the border for the signal Nathan gave twenty minutes ago when Irene first crossed into Blue Moon territory. They moved fast and clean. Irene didn't fight them. She understood what regional authority meant. This wasn't a pack dispute. This wasn't something she could outlast or outmaneuver or charm her way around.

Reacting swiftly, Naya ducked, narrowly avoiding the sharp blade that struck the tree trunk above her.

Bertulf was right beside him, looking on eagerly. "The border between Northlands and Eastlands. And Northlands to Westlands. It appears they are planning to attack us from the two regions at the same time," I replied. "We can't let them in the Northlands…" Jared said.
