Oh, plus those long ears, their height would be 8’6 or something. From the corner of my eyes, I could see the back of the big bunny – all white fluff and curved perfectly in a mid-arc. Then I realized he kind of looked muscled, and how I wish I had the power to become invisible, or possibly order the books or the ground to swallow me whole, or probably teleport myself to somewhere safe and away from this huge masculine rabbit. “Hello.”, his voice was deep and rich for a rabbit. I still didn’t move for fear of it pouncing me if I so move an inch of my muscle.

The rabbit didn’t move as his voice echoed around the snow. “No, no, it should be scared,” Mikael said, “It’s a rabbit…” “It has horns…” Peggy whispered. “It’s an illness they can get, the horns and tentacles will go… But that illness doesn’t change its behaviour,” Mikael said. “So?” Peggy said. “Rabbits don’t know the difference between wolves and werewolves. It’s looking at us, predators, and not showing fear,” Mikael said. “So… Something is really wrong…” Peggy said.

“Why is this pink-coloured thing afraid of me…!?” A man with white hair, red eyes, like an appearance of a white rabbit, stands next to me. “Thing…? It’s a Fortune Rabbit.” Saying that, I stroke the pink rabbit on her back, where she calms down and rests on my lap once again. “What is that? A rabbit that brings good luck?” “Yes.” “…I need to borrow her for a while.” BOP BOP BOP. Hearing that, the rabbit stomps her foot on my feet again— and with a quick pace.

I hold my aching side, bracing myself to keep going, run it off, when I notice two things at once. A few feet away, under the tall oak where Mari had been perched, there’s a white rabbit, upright on her haunches, staring at me, frozen in place. And my wolf isn’t fighting me for our skin. The rabbit’s tiny heart flutters under its smooth fur, racing. Its pink and white ears point skyward. My wolf notes the little critter, his mouth instinctively watering, but he dismisses her as quickly as he notices her.

She picked up the rabbit and sat on the chair opposite Orlan. Orlan looked at Noura in horror, who was holding a rabbit while stroking the rabbit. "You don't intend to drink his blood, do you?" asked Orlan to confirm. Danger if Noura suddenly sucks the blood of the tiny rabbit. It's nothing; all the rabbits belong to Arva. His little sister can go berserk if she knows the rabbit is missing one. Because every time she comes here, Arva comes to this park to meet all of her pet rabbits. Noura laughed. "Relax, I only drink once a day. This morning I had a drink. This rabbit is so cute; I can't bear to drink his blood." Noura still faithfully stroked the rabbit's fur.

It was a little baby rabbit. "Oh a wild rabbit, how cute!" I said. "It is quite cute, isn't it?" Ambrose said quietly while stroking the rabbit's fur. "So soft and delicate." Ambrose traced his finger around its neck and I had a bad feeling about it. "What are you planning on doing with it?" I asked. "So fragile," Ambrose repeated as if he didn't even hear me talking to him. "You could just grab his neck and snap it in half. It would be so easy," Ambrose said with a blank face.

She tells me that I am a girl on an important journey, and that there are depths to me that I have yet to discover. So far, all of that is true, although it’s probably true of nearly everyone in this mall. Maybe Sarah was right, and this was a waste. But then, the old fortune teller flips over a card that makes her let out a small gasp, then go quiet. I lean over to look. The card is upside down, but it depicts a rabbit, skinny and tall and white, standing under a full moon. Its eyes are red, and its teeth are long. “This is an unusual card,” the old woman murmurs. “And especially rare to see inverted.”

The little one was better off dead than in the hands of such a vicious master. The Lord nodded silently. The hint of a smile touched his lips, as Katherine directed her gaze back to the rabbit. She settled her hands at the soft black fur, not scared by the blood. In this aspect she wasn't like the daughters of rich families, who fainted at the sight. She had seen too much of it already, even without counting the death of her family. The rabbit was sliced open at its stomach and half of his organs were sliced through, too. No normal treatment could have saved it, but it wouldn't be magic if it could only do normal things.

The scent of the rabbits continues to taunt me, tempting me with the promise of nourishment. As I shut my eyes, I am immediately greeted by the rhythmic thumping and hopping sounds of rabbits. The familiar scent fills my nostrils, and I quickly realize that the alpha has generously provided me with live rabbits. With cautious excitement, I cautiously emerge from my cozy nest and take in the sight of countless rabbits scurrying around my newfound sanctuary. My heart leaps with joy, and I can't help but let out a delighted yip as I embark on the thrilling pursuit of food.

Perhaps, I could live with luxury for a few weeks. However, it seemed I was forced to get rid of that dream. Coming out of the bushes wasn't a game that we expected, but only a rabbit. The creature was all white and fluffy like cotton. Although slightly bigger than the ordinary rabbit, it didn't prevent my intention to touch its soft fur. This was the first time I've seen such an animal. I thought it was natural for me to fell in love at first sight with the rabbit.
