OUR UNEXPECTED UNIVERSE

OUR UNEXPECTED UNIVERSE

"What's the first thing we do when we unpack?" "We buy the simplest, most inexpensive fabric couch we can find," Portia murmured smoothly, her voice dropping into a tender, fierce register that carried an absolute, sacred weight. "And then, I am going to hold your hand in the daylight every single day, without a single piece of campus armor, and without a single camera watching us."

Bonded to Alpha Darius

she said. Something moved at the corner of his mouth. "And you," she said. "What do you want for the next year?" He looked at the garden. "More of this," he said simply. "The specific accumulation of ordinary days that contain the right things." He paused. "I spent a long time before the bond understanding that the extraordinary was what mattered. The decisions and the leadership and the significant events." He looked at her. "I understand now that the ordinary is what the extraordinary is made of. The mornings in the kitchen and the evenings in the east sitting room and the walks to the community hall and the dinners with Roman and Lily." He paused. "I want more of the ordinary."

Unexpected Future

She replied and stood up hearing the door. “Over?” she asked, looking at James and he nodded, not even glancing at her making me frown. I took a step ahead, but Di shook her head at me whispered, “Karma is a bitch and I am getting to know more closely about it.” They both left and I entered the room to see tired face of Nakul but he is looking better than the past two weeks. He smiled, glancing at me and I returned it before sitting beside him. “Was the magical moments over?” I asked making him frown.

THE FORTRESS

THE FORTRESS

She was becoming very bothered even though she tried not to think about all the strange transitioning that had been happening when she felt things that had come in contact with other people before her. So many questions were beginning to surface in her mind and for a moment, she felt she needed help. The idea of help was quickly buried as it suddenly occured to her that no one had ever come out to admitting they were extraordinary even though she was of the opinion that the robber and her were not the only ones who had discovered they had unusual abilities. Maybe, other people were in situations like hers, not fully understanding the concept of their abilities or what to call it. And to thin

Thank you all for baring with me on this second book. I’m sorry it’s taken so long to get it out. Between a fulltime job, kids and hitting a writing block, it’s taken me way too long to write this. I hope you enjoy it. Song List for the Unexpected Surprise… They are not in order for chapters. Just the main ones I’ve listened to while writing. I really and truly LOVED this book. Yes, the ending was unexpected. Everleigh is too powerful and should be mated to only one fae mate. Or a fae/werewolf one. Grey and Zayne weren’t able to appreciate her. Actually, no one was able to appreciate her true self. I’m relieved she left them all.

Unforgettable Encounter

Unforgettable Encounter

The notification shows a text from an unknown number. UNKNOWN: K is all I'm going to get for a name, huh? My stomach flips and my heart skips a beat. A winking emoji follows the message. The stranger. I stare at the text, feeling both surprised and amused that he had bothered to contact me. My thumbs hover over the screen and the cursor blinks at me, waiting for my response. K: Wasn't sure if you wanted to know or not. Figured I'd at least leave a little something behind.

Unforeseen Love

she mumbled, scratching the back of her head nervously. I narrowed my eyes at her patiently waiting for her to explain the situation. What reason could she have to just lay on top of me? I mean, if she couldn't sleep anywhere else, the bed seems big enough. She could have slept on the other side of the bed if not the floor. She had to sleep on top of me. If that's not weird, I don't know what is. Does she have some kind of fetish or something? Oh God! I hope I didn't end up getting married to a weird woman. I won't be able to survive such weird antics. “ Well, I'm waiting for you to say something,” I said, urging her to speak.

An Unexpected Love

An Unexpected Love

I know everyone is talking about what happened yesterday and I know, they will continue to talk about it until the next big thing happens. When I make my way to my locker, and when I put in the code and once its open, there is a loud pop and suddenly, I feel cold and wet, and I am covered in something cold and sticky. When I look down at myself, I am covered in. I don’t know what the hell this crap is, but it is horrible, it smells awful and its so sticky.

The Unspoken Accord

The Unspoken Accord

“A good day.” As the afternoon light turned the room amber, Evelyn produced her phone. “A picture. We must have a picture.” It wasn’t a formal arrangement. They simply gathered on the large sofa. Henry sat holding Bella, beaming. William stood behind him, a hand on his father’s shoulder. Mimi sat next to Henry, her head tilted towards her daughter. Evelyn stood to the side, her hand on William’s arm, her smile serene and unguarded. The phone camera clicked. The image captured was not of a powerful dynasty, but of a family. Tired, happy, intertwined. The Unbreakable Accord, framed in pixels.
