Not My Problem Anymore
Behind me, Myra walked over with a cup of coffee.
I leaned against my office desk, looking down at him.
"How could it be? You've done nothing wrong. My life is pretty great."
He said nothing.
Soon, he faded from my life, just like the others.
Myra handed me a document. I thought it was a contract, but when I opened it, it was a sketch of my profile.
"Mr. Todd, do you have time tonight for dinner?"
She held out her hand, and I took it with a smile.
