It was made out of glass, beyond which was nothing but the vibrant blue skies. So blue. Noah had never before seen something that blue. Blue. Like Levi’s eyes. Subconsciously, his red-rimmed and watery eyes lowered to meet Levi’s. There was so much emotion conveyed through that blue gaze, but Noah’s currently dull mind couldn’t make sense of any of them. Levi’s eyes locked with his baby’s teary doe-eyes with his long eyelashes wet and clumped together, looking so pitifully bullied. At that moment, Levi felt blinded, his mind and body rumbling, for the devastating image was too much for him to bear.

I retorted. Evie raised an eyebrow at me, not needing to say anything. I knew what she was thinking. Maybe my mother knew why that happened. There was so much I didn't know about the dragon. This inner animal intertwined with Evie in a way I had never experienced. Released something primal within her. Something strong and volatile. The blue flecks that appeared in her eyes faded, but they were still there. Then with a sigh, I said, "But, you're right."

He is the vice president of the Black group. "The final presentation is on my laptop. Get my laptop ready," Kael instructed his assistant, Lena Steward. She is in her early twenties. Its claws are dark at the base, clear at the tips. But its eyes are the worst part. Deep ice blue, bright and cold. When it looks down, the air feels frozen. The warriors below can only stare up in fear. The white dragon folds its wings and drops from the sky. Snow explodes as it lands hard on the frozen ground. The whole werewolf realm shakes. Its ice-blue eyes sweep over everyone below. No one dares to breathe. That's the way it is now. Then, the rider steps down. Raphael slides off the dragon’s back and hits the ground. The cold air dances around us, biting skin, freezing breath.

Eyes like blue ice held an equal amount of eagerness and readiness to begin life. They were given the names Nayara and Ghaeron, for the light and darkness. Like their parents they were immortal of spirit, with innate abilities to manipulate mystical energy, though not to the degree that their parents could. They grew swiftly as Dragons do, and soon were mature enough to assume their roles as guardians.

Her eyes widen and she looks at Avani, who gives her a wide-eyed ‘surprise’ look. “Who?” “Her name is Kaylani. She’s the water dragon.” I pull her plate over so she can eat while sitting in my lap. “Does she look like you or Avani?” Palila puts my plate in front of me and I mouth a ‘thank you’ to her. “Neither. While you and I are fire dragons and our dragons are red, Avani is the Earth dragon and his dragon is green. Kaylani is the water dragon and her dragon is blue."

The moment his gaze locked onto the infant, a monstrous, white-hot fury erupted from his throat. "Why does it have blue eyes?! Why the hell does my son have blue eyes?!" The entire grand hall plunged into a suffocating, paralyzing silence. The Elders exchanged horrified, bewildered glances. No one dared to draw breath. Every single legitimate child born to the dragon royal family, male or female, possessed pure, molten-gold reptilian slits at birth. This was an iron clad, prehistoric law of royal biology that had remained unbroken for thousands of years.

I learned how to fight, lead, and conduct myself with the dignity of a future Luna while the other kids played unrestrictedly. I was standing in front of my bedroom mirror now, fifteen years later, brushing down the ceremonial garment that hung over me like water. With every movement, the silk glistened in the candlelight. My blue hair fell beyond my shoulders, representing everything I was destined to be rather than being the object of youthful awe.

I whispered back remembering, searching his eyes, As soon as I said it his eyes softened to a blue as if those words had calmed him. “WE don’t,” he replied softly, his eyes all shades of green, blue, and gold. "Is that what you are? A Dragon?" I asked staring up into his galaxy eyes, his arms around me stiffened, "yes," he replied his eyes skimming my face as if gauging my reaction. I shook my head wondering what I had gotten myself into, I thought Lycans were a mess, but Dragons! "I didn't know that Dragons were-" "Handsome?" He asked grinning, his white teeth which were definitely not as sharp as I thought they would be appearing.

Larice Whitewind found it pleasing when the people were the ones staying away from her. “Eyes here, trainees … dragons can only have three shades of eye colors—amber, hazel, and gold. I’m all certain that blue is not one of them,” Arien said when he seemed to notice the students looking at her. “Besides, Ms. Whitewind here came from another country which she has yet to share to the class.” Larice rolled her eyes. Who would care anyway if she did? And her eyes were aurora-blue, not just blue as in the shade of plain blue.
