Noctis Lucis Caelum Older Novels & Stories

Livia's POV: The next day, the sun rose high up, coloring the night sky by a baby blue color with blushes of clouds. The first golden ray of the morning covered the land of the Crescent's. As spoken by Lucius yesterday, people who were invited prepared themselves early in the morning for the upcoming hunting game. I woke up early, finding Lucius had moved his hand from under my neck, and that he had left my side. But I could still feel the warmth on the surface of the bed next to mine, finding his traces.

Celeste. Lycer resisted the urge to rip out the pages of his notebook. Days, weeks, had passed and he got nowhere. He couldn't find his father nor any other immortal. He asked the tracker, Josh, if he'd ever heard of these higher presences. Josh stared at him as though it were a joke. Of course he'd heard of the Lycan, the original few from who their blood flowed down from the very mother herself. But these were myths, fairy tales, told to pups as they were tucked sweetly into bed by their parents. He asked his dearest Celestial what she remembered of these childhood tales. Surely her name meant something to her parents, surely they knew. She said she barely recalled, not until he said it wa

"I have seen that artifact before... in the oldest, forbidden cave paintings. It vanished entirely during the First Eclipse War." Noctis smiled weakly, his body suddenly convulsing violently. "I kept it hidden from Nyxar... for the one true family worthy of carrying its weight." Suddenly, Noctis's body twisted in unnatural agony. A massive aura of pure darkness erupted around his form, and a deep, monstrous, overlapping voice echoed from within his chest: **"TRAITOR!"** Noctis cried out in sheer torment, his eyes flickering violently between crimson red and brilliant silver. "You have to run! You have to leave the capital!" he shouted, fighting for control. "He has found me!"

In conclusion, there was a downfall. No longer were they the chosen couple. Now, one died and one is broken. The Luna of Blood Moon Pack is dark, deep, mysterious. The alpha is no different, but he supported his mate and Luna in spite of everything. The Luna couldn't. Thus, she was known as the Black Luna throughout history.

"I won't become you." She turned toward the altar. "The choice belongs to the Moon." The silver light intensified. Noctis's darkness began disappearing. His ancient armor cracked. The crimson fire in his eyes faded. For the first time in centuries, he looked tired. Very tired. He whispered, "I don't remember what peace feels like." Lynnek looked at him. "Then perhaps it's time you learned." The final seal descended. A brilliant flash filled the chamber. Then everything went quiet. --- Outside, the red sky slowly returned to its natural darkness.

Morgan and Lucian stirred eagerly within him, their presence flooding his mind with savage anticipation. Lucian laughed. “Oh I like this part.” Morgan’s voice followed, colder and far more dangerous. “She talks too much.” Lucifer cracked his massive neck slowly. Then his voice rumbled across the battlefield like distant thunder. “You heard him.” His crimson gaze locked onto Luna. “No more talking.” The moment stretched thin. Then it shattered. Luna moved first. Her body dissolved into pure moonlight, vanishing from the sky in a flash of silver brilliance. “Above!” Caius shouted. A split second later, Luna reappeared high above the battlefield, her arms already raised as divine power gathered

The incantation to muffle the sights and sounds around us does little good to stop the banshee’s screams. I grab his hands and chant with him. “Clausus sonare. Angustos lux. Hoc aspectu in domum custodire ab omni malo. Clausus sonare. Angustos lux. Hoc aspectu in domum custodire ab omni malo.”

His white robes glinted under the moonlight and his silver hair added to his majestic presence. “The Noctilux Pack is blessed by the Moon Goddess tonight,” Sigmund proclaimed loudly, cutting through the festive noise. “Fortune shall favour us all.” The guests cheered and applauded, and some even knelt in respect. Lennon gave Sigmund a slight bow, then looked up at the sky with pride. Meanwhile, Estelle felt something unusual in the moonlight—too bright and warm, as if it were highlighting something that shouldn't be seen. Estelle took a slow breath, trying to calm herself. It’s just a symbol. Nothing is wrong. Everything is proceeding as it should.

“Long ago, Daciana, your father and I were travelling the Land of Dawn. We’re also with my brother and the other tribes. We have this on-going research to look for medical herbs that will help those who were sick.” While Stoic is explaining, I look at Adolf who’s arms are crossed while his eyes were focused on the other direction. Even though he’s holding a cold scornful look in his eyes. I could tell he’s here for me. “We found a group of plants that looks harmless. They are bright blue that illuminates when its night. We call it “Night light” or Mortiferum Lux.” Hearing him explaining this things fascinates me. Stoic somehow reminded me of my father who seems like he knows everything. The

I whispered. The spy hesitated. “We… don’t know, my lady. The citadel is impenetrable, news from within is hard to come by.” If it was true that a moonborn had risen then I would have problems. Anyone that could come between me and complete domination didn't deserve to live. I slammed my hand against the table. “Find out. Now.” The rogues scurried away and I returned. I found Lucien on the top towers, looking up at the sky with a tight expression. I went to him. I wondered how much he knew of the significance of the celestial lights.
