Feral on the Ice

Feral on the Ice

"They have the Great Archive. They know things about our biology that even Silas Vane didn't. They’re going to try to turn us against each other, Elara. They'll use the Fire to melt the Ice." "Let them try," Elara said. "They don't know what it’s like to be a pack that chose each other. They only know the blood they were born with." The Approach to Bergen On the fourth day, the jagged, snow-capped fjords of Norway appeared on the horizon. The sky was a bruised charcoal gray, and the water was filled with "Ghost-Ice"—large, translucent bergs that seemed to move against the current. "Rhys, report," Elara said, stepping onto the bridge.

Timber Alpha

Timber Alpha

she angled her body slightly to allow the girl to step forwards, "let me introduce you to my daughter, Liane." Liane is even more stunning up close. She has the same kind of golden hair that I do, but her’s is thrown into a mock mohawk on the top filled with tiny braids and backcombing that looks like it took ages. She truly resembles what I would picture a Viking queen looked like. Her whole body was thick with muscle but in a defined and capable, yet dainty, way. Her eyes were an impossibly soft colour of green that was fernlike in nature, and hard to not be drawn into.

Tear
Great read. Well written..had a few errors but that's to be expected. The main character had tantrums but she was not portrayed as annoying but more endearing, which I really liked. When they become annoying, it really turns me off the book. But all the characters' development was top notch. Bravo!!

I need help! Lol, I want to go on with the second, but need to know if I should continue on what is there at the end of timber alpha, then the stand alone mated to Brianna? Will it be confusing if I do what follows the first book then the second?

Blonde, skinny and with the brightest smile ever, Nicky Duaine was amazing and Gigi used to find herself comparing to her every time (something that only happened with Nicky since she had a great self-esteem). "Admit you love drama and go, Jayla!" Joked Wanda. Gigi couldn't even begin to talk about how beautiful Wanda was and not only on the outside, on the inside too. Curvy, confident and sexy, Wanda was everybody's type. Her chocolate skin was one of the softest things Gigi had ever witnessed, she was truly breathtaking in every single way.

The hybrid's curse

The hybrid's curse

Kendrio snarled. "Kendrio!" Kendrio paused with his foot in the air. He glared at his son as he heard his name called. His eyes drifted towards his wife who was standing near the pillars of the castle looking tensely at him. Kendrio let out a frustrated sigh she dropped his foot and turned his head towards Nora. Kendrio looked at Nora who had a few flowers in her hands. A soft blue dress complimented her light skin tone as her soft curls danced with air.

The Alphas Hunt

The Alphas Hunt

His eyes were a beautiful blend of blue, like the deepest part of an ocean, the darkness of the water when the sun couldn't reach it- that was his eyes but they faded into a cobalt blue in the center. My lips twitched, I felt them pulling up in a smile when I watched him- he was an enigma. Nora cocked her head and stuck her chin out. “What are you? You’re not wolf or Lycan, you’re certainly not human, and those are the only creatures we have on this island.” Zade no longer made an attempt to hide his amusement and his smile stretched across his face. “The only creatures you have or the only creatures you’re aware of?” His cocky tone earned a growl of annoyance from Nora who still refused to

The book was great. The first section was quite disturbing & I almost stopped reading it. I'm glad I persevered as the twists & turns, as well as the character development, made it compelling & worthwhile.

There are A LOT of spelling mistakes at first, and trust me, I almost stopped reading because I was so irritated. But I’m SO GLAD I stuck with it because the storytelling and character dev is so good!! There are still spelling mistakes throughout, but much less frequent. Can’t wait for book 2!!!

he added quickly. "Oh, the girl with the braids, right?" Liv said, more animatedly. "I should have known immediately by the hair that you were related." She swallowed when his head spun to her. "They're really distinctive," she added. "I was asking her about them, and she said it was tradition in her family." "Mmmm…" Brodi hummed. "This is true. It goes back to our Norse upbringing." "Well, I love it. I was hoping to get someone to do mine that way," Liv said. "It seems like it would keep the hair out of my face in the field, and look good, too."

Nine was their sacred number since it connected the nine realms that existed within Yggdrasil. “I choose Gungnir, the great spear of Odin, Angurvadal, the stream of anguish, Gram, who brought death to Fafnir, Freyr’s sword, to fight when I am weak, Dáinsleif, to inflict wounds that never heal, Lævateinn, so that my step will never falter, Skofnung, the supernatural blade, Hǫfuð, the great sword of Heimdall and lastly Mjolnir.” Malachi chose his nine gifts and the rest were returned to the vault. These gifts would be sent to his house in Seward and he knew Jessica would banish them to his study.

His Mate Her Savior

Cayd asks. “What do you know of it,” the man in front of him growls. “Perhaps we can sit down and talk. There’s a lot for us to discuss,” I say. “Come on, Orsid. Let’s talk to them. Three of them are dragons, one is related to Ronnon. Perhaps these two are related to our clan members, also. The wolf is obviously protecting his mate. He hasn’t shown any aggression at all. I’m Toddre. That’s Orsid, as I said, and that’s Norrin. He’s also a Drache. The other two are Ddraigs, as you might have guessed,” the man in front of me says.

“You know, just because you’re bigger and stronger doesn’t mean you were first. My grandfather said the first lupus garou was a red—that he was a berserker, a Norseman, who prayed to Odin, the Scandinavian god of war and death but also of poetry and wisdom. Odin could change into any form he liked, but a bear and a wolf were his best known forms. He was thought of as the ultimate alpha wolf when he turned into that beast. The berserker human was a redhead, and after losing his wife and children to a raiding party of Norsemen, he beseeched Odin to give him the power to right the wrong done to his family and his people. “Odin took pity on the Norseman and gifted him withnear-immortality by ext

Auden’s Blessing

Auden’s Blessing

Dwarves prefer the homely and virtuous type. Elves prefer the sweet and cute type. The Vanir prefer blonde and seductive beauty. The Aesir prefer black-haired, cold elegance. I had no particular advantage. But I didn’t have demands as high as Shia’s—forty points would be enough. The snow fell heavier and heavier, drifting down everywhere. Seeing the red-haired man in the crowd who stood out more than anyone else, I couldn’t help giving him a slight smile. The cold wind howled. I lowered my hood, and my waist-length black hair was lifted and whipped about in the snowstorm.
