Norse Mythology Novels & Stories

Peter "Sure," he said. "Whatever you want to call him. I guess it just depends on which version of the story you want to go by, though I bet you'll be interested to know that the figure in mythology is supposed to be like a brother to Loki." I blinked at him. He gave me a nonplussed look. "Loki, father of Fenrir, Jormangadr, and Hel?" He paused. "And the eight-legged horse, but let's not get involved with that."

He stared at the apples and figs he had gone to so much trouble to pick to please his friends and the trouble he had taken to escape the surveillance of Alfhildr, his wicked stepmother who overloaded him with daily chores while her own children played. So he took a twig, bowed his head and started tracing runes on the ground, singing an unfamiliar melody that still came to his mind: There is no sun that the moon cannot overcome The day the debt is paid, tremble Kattegat, tremble When the iron meets the shield, tremble When songs grow from blood fed soils, tremble Whether he has to raze entire villages to write long exploit runes with blood, A Viking will end up paying his debt And so Kattega

Each word he signed added to the rich tapestry of Aqualearia's lore, and as the tale unfolded, their connection deepened, and the barriers between them seemed to dissolve. "In the time when the world was still young, there existed a powerful and ancient being known as the giantess Angrboða," Finrir signed with eloquence, his hands forming precise gestures to convey the story. "From her union with the great trickster god Loki, three remarkable children were born."

“You are but not cause you are hearing voices.’ "My voice is called Sif." Ingrid said. "Mine is Joro." Olivia smiled. "As in Norsk mythology?" They both nodded with smiles. "Odin's wife and Thor's wife. I'm a little concerned about mine." "What do you mean?" Ingrid asked, tilting her head to one side. "Well, in Norsk Mythology mine is the Goddess of death and ruler of Helheim." I muttered, not sure how to take this information. "Hela." Olivia smiled. "It is good to have you with us Hela, thank you for protecting our pup."

"Fiachra, a beauty that had graced the land of Hymir. Dancing under the glow of the moon, A mighty sword at hand, Ravens following her every grace. Mesmerizing the world with her might and bravery, A beauty that could overturn a war, A warrior that rides with the ravens, Fearlessly conquering the enemies. Guide Hymir with your comrades that soar the skies, Hymir your beloved land will forever prosper under your watch."

Before I start this book, I want to explain something. Who is a Yoruba Demon? A Yoruba Demon is technically a full fledged Zaddy. They're not literal demons but we'll soon know why they are called that in a second. So a Yoruba demon is a very handsome, tall, fine as hell, ripped body kind of guy. Let's not forget stinking rich. But inside all of that, he's not your everyday kind of boyfriend. Trust me, Yoruba demons don't have to beg to get into your pants. You'll be the one taking your pants off lol.

"One: he is an evolved being much like the Fae. If this is the case, then tremendous amounts of power will be necessary to kill him. Either by complete obliteration or by siphoning off his power." Stretch nodded. "And the second possibility?" "He's from a place called Muspelheim. Which is specifically the volcanic section of Hel. Close-ish enough to what most humans think of Hell. Fiery death, agony, doom. You get the point. If he's a Surtr-fire giant of Norse faith system-then he can only be killed by a god." Kord looked at Stretch. "Or goddess." "In either situation, it's going to come down to who has the most power at the end of the day. And how well you can wield said power."

The same man that I heard about? No offense Marsai, but you were very lucky that this was your husband. At least, you did later marry an omega trash. I knew it was probably bad for me to think this way. I know that this man…Fenrir, my brother, Rudolph referred to him as Alpha Fenrir. I know he murdered Marsai's parents, the late Luna and Alpha, putting our pack in jeopardy, and that he forced her to be his wife but….he honestly didn't look bad, at all. In fact he looked so…so…yummmy!

Professor Damaris also said that every Summoner has a spirit animal who can protect and guide them. The Healing Caste is the sixth caste in the Olympus wherein people like Dr. Foster have the ability to heal and revive someone from death. If not so, others from this caste can create different kinds of potions—good potions to be exact. Professor Damaris didn’t elaborate on it because she said that I’m able to know it soon.

I shook my head, the idea preposterous. “If Nix is real, why can’t other religions have real Gods?” My mom pointed out, making me stop and second guess myself. “How did she anger them?” I finally asked. “Fenrir; the God of destruction.” The weight of the name sent a shiver down my spine, the air becoming noticeably cooler. “Nix was betrothed to him but broke it off when she fell for Nox. Odin chained and bound Fenrir under the earth on the promise that Nix depart and never return once her human lover died.”
