Called by the Dragon

Called by the Dragon

Seemed he was too dense for that, luckily. “Did you know we’ve been ordered to watch you?” His smirk grew wider. “Looks like you’ve fucked up. You used to be the perfect soldier, married only to her duty to the Empire. Inviolate virgin off-limits to, you know, all mortal men. But look at you now. Sneaking around with other soldiers when no one’s looking, huh? And sitting around being lazy when you think you can get away with it. What were you even doing when I got here? Mumbling to yourself and groping that egg, you’ve got me all curious now.”

DESPERATE LOVE

DESPERATE LOVE

"You are my best warrior." “Right now that may be true, but what about five years from now, ten years from now? You will get a better soldier than me at a much younger age than me. When you don't need me anymore, you will leave me. And then I will grow old in solitude and loneliness. As for my family, they didn't just use me when I was young and prime. They love me sincerely and will continue to be there for me until I die. In fact they are the ones who will cry for me when I'm died. So please, don't force me to be your soldier. I want to be a normal man, Kiev.” A heavy breath escaped from Kiev's nose, creating white steam that danced around his face. He looked very lethargic at Calvin's dec

The Villainess Wants To Live

The Villainess Wants To Live

"As I've said before, I think you've heard exaggerated stories about me. I'm not a great man, Belle. I'm not a hero." "Well, you're definitely not perfect," I retorted. It was true. Of course he was still physically perfect. But he was so far from the perfect hero that I originally had in my mind. He was a bit dirty, and he said bad words. He admits to being human and he also makes mistakes. So yeah, he's not perfect. But nobody does either. He's just like everyone else... yet so special. And that's what makes him even more beautiful. At that exact moment, my heart suddenly burst with happiness. I found someone who's like me. I'm not the only weirdo here.

Rise of the Rejected; Bred by the Mafia CEO

Rise of the Rejected; Bred by the Mafia CEO

“How sure are you that you hit her?” “It was a direct hit” the man laughed hysterically. “no one can escape such a shot. You know, I told you I once worked in the army. I remember when I was a soldier. Soldier!” he laughed again and doubled up on the chair he was sitting. His fierce looking face looked even more hideous with the scars etched on them. “And you were kicked out because you f*cked all the girls there even though you could barely fire a shot” Qye scoffed and puffed a smoke into the air.

The Perfect Lie

The Perfect Lie

"Kane shouldn't have followed us that quickly. Someone tipped him off." A cold knot tightened in Lena's chest. "Mercer." Evelyn finished the stitches. "Kane was just a soldier. Mercer's the enemy." Damien nodded. "And he's still out there." Lena let out a breath. The war was not completed; it had just begun.

Mrs. Perfect

Mrs. Perfect

Dad stood by, his face full of tender affection. As soon as he saw Simon barge in with a group of people, he frowned. "Simon, why are you bringing so many people in here? Laila just had surgery, and she needs to rest. All of you, get out!" He stepped forward to push them out, but Simon stood firm, eyes locked on him. "Did you forget about your other daughter?" My parents froze for a moment, as if they had only just remembered me. Dad looked away sheepishly. "What about her? She lost a kidney. She's much stronger than Laila, so she'll be fine."

THE SLAVE WHO REJECTED THE ALPHA

THE SLAVE WHO REJECTED THE ALPHA

Around them, soldiers formed a closed circle, weapons aimed firmly, without hesitation, creating an impossible barrier to cross. Farther back, a little away from the confusion, Romeo and the counselor from before, Valassan, watched. Neither of them moved. Neither of them intervened. “Please, we worked properly,” a man said, his voice breaking in the middle of the sentence, his face wet with tears. The soldier in front of him did not answer. He only raised his arm and struck him with the butt of the weapon. “Quiet.” There, in the middle, on her knees, was the red-haired woman from the stable. I knew she was not my mother, but she was exactly like me, someone with no one to defend her, someone

BOUND TO THE DEMON LORD

BOUND TO THE DEMON LORD

“Hesitation will cost you more than pain. Keep moving!” The men pushed harder. Breathing fast, hands slick with sweat, some with little cuts. Nil didn’t ease up. Every step, every strike, measured and human—but one wrong move could cost a man a lot. One soldier thought he found an opening. Nil shifted his weight, caught the blade, forced the man back. The soldier nearly fell, muttering curses. Nil’s chest rose and fell, just a little heavier—he was human, after all—but his eyes didn’t waver.

I believe I’m about halfway through. This story is amazing, and definitely deserves a lot more notice. I see it’s completed and genuinely hope it is and you didn’t just stop updating it. The characters are great, the back stories to them especially Asher is amazing. Definitely recommend this book!

Hey Readers! I’ve poured my heart into about 80 chapters, yet not a single review. How am I supposed to know if the story is good, worth continuing, or if you’re dropping it halfway? Your feedback motivates me and keeps this story alive. No reviews soon, I’ll take a break and hold back new chapters.

Though there were some cases when he would rather do differently that what was asked of him especially when he got stupid marching orders for purposes that was not for the agenda and betterment of the people as a whole but merely rooted on the greed of his superiors. But it was also in moments like those where he reminded himself over and over again that he was first and foremost a soldier. If he had not wanted to be a dog for his leaders then he should have early rode on the wide ranging tickets in the political arena. But no, Roger was a soldier and he was proud to be one. So he will send a man out and pray for his success. "May God bless us all." Roger echoed the last words of the Preside

The starting was serious. The child mature too fast, which is sad, but hopefully 'bullies' let them be and not add to their condition. looks promising, especially the curiosity of how the kids are going to pull through. nice ?

Dawn

Dawn

Being suddenly denied, the soldier behind the general was shocked, his eyes widened but he quickly collected his bearing and calmly asked his superior to explain. “That woman isn't a zombie. She's human.” Human? Hu...man??? The soldier's jaw dropped and his mouth could swallow an egg. His superior ignored him and traced the image on the screen. Then, a smirk appeared on his lips. “...Interesting.”
