The Forbidden Truth

The Forbidden Truth

“Please don’t lie. No, please the truth. The girl in the story was you, right?” “Yes.” She was hesitating on telling Jina the truth but Jina pleaded so she couldn’t refuse her and told her the truth. “But how? There are no news about a massive gate like the one you mentioned. Where are you from?” The story she told Jina was incomplete she didn’t tell Jina about her coming out from a gate. And if she told her she knows that Jina will not believe her. Because a person coming out of a gate? Nothing comes out of a gate but monsters.

I really liked this book. Too bad it ends after 36 chapters and hasn't been added to in a couple of weeks. If y'all want people to pay to read your books, at least write something. This is the second book, this has happened with. I think I'm done with good novel.

Great story!! refreshing to read something different then other books on good novel. loved the complexity of the worlds and characters. would have been nice to have it a bit longer, and more lucas scenes, but still greatly enjoyed it. looking forward to the next book!

OWNED BY MY EX'S GODFATHER

OWNED BY MY EX'S GODFATHER

It is just the truth. She writes the statement that night in the smaller library at the penthouse. Short. Plain. True. Three sentences. The piece is unfinished because I do not yet know what the woman looks like with no walls at all. I have never been her. This is me trying to find out. It becomes the strongest one of the six precisely because it does not pretend to know more than it does. This mirrors the larger story of Alexander's past, the trust, and his father without spelling out the parallel. Both Sophia and Alexander are sitting with things that are true and not yet understood. And the chapter is quietly suggesting that this is survivable. Even good. Rather than something that needs

That's what he wanted. "Okay...so first question. Whatever is written in these books is real, right? I mean these are not fictional? She sounded so unsure that Azraiel wanted to laugh. He controlled the laughter bubbling in his throat while she continued to play with the pen and paper in her hand. "No...they are not fictional. Everything that is written in these books is true." Azraiel answered her, leaning back in his chair to create some space between them; both for the sake of her nerves and his sanity.

A Decade of Lies

A Decade of Lies

No one could deny they were blood-related. A beautiful woman, standing next to the boy, said gently, "Your dad's busy with work, sweetheart. Don't cling to him too much," When Rudolf and that woman's eyes met, they were seemingly able to communicate with each other with just a look—they didn't have to say a word. I clutched my chest, which had suddenly spasmed with pain. I felt as though an invisible hand was squeezing the life out of me, and breathing became difficult. I told myself to calm down, but I couldn't stop myself from trembling.

He didn’t deny it. “Of course,” he said simply. I clenched my fists. “You let me walk into this.” His golden eyes gleamed. “I guided you to the truth.” I let out a sharp breath, shaking my head. “No. No, this is—this is a trick. A manipulation. I am not like you.” His expression didn’t waver. “So why did the book answer you?” I opened my mouth— And froze. Because I had felt it.

I laugh at the clever word play. "Can we go in there?" I plead. Jack looks to where I'm pointing, "Of course." He smiles at me. I smile super hard and stare at the adventure ahead of me. We walk in and I look at a ton of cooking books, dog calendars and more. There's a book there called, Dear Nobody. It's a true story about a girl named, Mary Rose, who has to deal with her drug addiction and boys. The book interests me. I show Jack. "Out of every book in this store, you choose the one about an addict?" Jack raises his eyebrows. I shrug.

THE BILLIONAIRE'S TWISTED GAMES

THE BILLIONAIRE'S TWISTED GAMES

She placed the leather-bound book on her lap with reverence, brushing away the lingering dust with her trembling fingers. The book creaked open like it hadn’t been touched in years. Its pages were yellowed and fragile, but tucked between random paragraphs were faint markings—notes written in delicate, slanted handwriting. Leah’s heart thudded as she scanned the lines, searching for meaning. On the third chapter, Sofia’s voice came alive. “Nothing is ever truly what it seems. A beautiful prison is still a prison.” Leah’s brows furrowed. She flipped another page. More underlines, this time around a quote from the book’s protagonist:
