No one. No one.

But their meaning was. I’m telling you this not to ask for sympathy, but because you can’t understand what comes next without knowing this was the beginning: I started with “nothing.” What no one saw—what their tests couldn’t touch—is that my version of nothing still had weight. It wasn’t an absence. It was a presence, just not one they knew how to measure. They kept looking for a channel. What I had was a reservoir.

Author's POV. André’s Subconscious There was no light. No sun. No stars. Not even the faintest memory of flame. Only the vast, endless stretch of nothingness, dense as smoke and thick like oil. It wasn't simply darkness it was erasure. The obliteration of color, of time, of self. No sound. No scent. No warmth or cold. Just silence. Not the kind that soothes but the kind that devours. A silence so profound it drowned thought itself.

Behind them strode the Prophetess, her white robes now inked in black veins of corruption, her staff pulsing with red light. “You carry the Null,” she hissed. “And with it, the death of divinity.” Kael shifted halfway, his voice a growl. “You lost your path. Don’t lose your soul.” She laughed bitterly. “Soul? There are no souls in a world built on cycles of forgetting. Only echoes of pain. The Architect promises silence. Peace.” Lyra stepped forward, her hands glowing. “No. He promises *nothingness.*” The Prophetess raised her staff.

The specific silence of something that has finally, fully, stopped. And then Nothing.

"The Maker's lash! The feeling of the *empty spot*! Can you... can you make a *hole* in the harmony? Not a wrong note. An *absence* of note?" His eyes, wide with panic, focused on me. He understood instantly. "A targeted ontological silence. A vacuum. But Sze, to create that, we'd need to focus it, give it a shape... a shape of *nothing*. It's a logical paradox!" "Perfect! He can't harmonize a paradox! He can only simplify what's *there*! Give him *nothing* to work with!"

The weight of not having been able to do anything. And then, everything went dark.
