“Just give me a minute.” Will squeezed my hand and got up. Things felt weird between us since we had both gotten out of prison. I couldn’t say what, but we both were struggling with what had happened. Before we had turned to each other in trying times, now we seemed to be distancing ourselves as if there was too much pain in being anything more than co-workers.

He didn't want to get his hopes up, but maybe this would be the change they were after in all of their existence. As he roamed about, careful to not look into the white and only white sky, he felt the Heaven's ground rumble, as another set of gates appeared from a crack in the ground, the color bronze so shining and smooth, Loss wondered if he could break off a piece of it, and save it for Josie. "The first gates have opened!" the Devil rejoices, and Loss understands. Heaven and Hell aren't so different after all.

Jaime gave me a nod and walked out of the room leaving me alone. ******************* Brianne’s POV I woke up feeling like I had been sleeping for day, my eyes tiredly floated across the room, I remembered where I was and the weird things that had happened to me last time, starting from when I had run away from Jason and the appearance of his older brother who was also some sort of Alpha wolf king like Jason.

"Follow me." Without another word, Steve led Celess down a dark alleyway. Celess felt her heart race as they walked deeper into the darkness, unsure of what he had in store for her. But when they emerged into a clearing, she saw something that took her breath away. There, in the center of the clearing, was a beautiful garden, filled with exotic flowers and plants she had never seen before. The air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming roses and the sound of crickets chirping in the night.

Art. I pulled out a thick book carefully. A collection of European masterworks. The moment I opened it, something inside my chest loosened. Like finding a piece of myself I thought was gone forever. I sat down in one of the leather chairs and began reading. Minutes passed maybe longer. And for the first time in months, I wasn’t thinking about debt. Or work. Or survival. I was just… me again. Then, a voice spoke behind me. “You’re not supposed to be in here.”

But if it really was dirty, then why in my previous life had she been able to use that very money to rise so spectacularly? There had to be something more—some hidden scheme I didn't yet understand. As I racked my brain, trying to pinpoint where things had gone wrong, something caught my eye. I saw Chelsea and the finance director exchange a subtle glance—then nod to each other. A chill shot through me, cold and piercing. They weren't supposed to be close at all. Yet, that silent exchange spoke of a connection far deeper than mere acquaintances. I suddenly looked up at the finance director. He cleared his throat, the urgency on his face intensifying.

At least there, I can have peace. When I arrived at the garden, I felt the peace hugging me. 'Finally.' Away from those stabbing gazes, away from that annoying expression of Rosine, away from that indifferent male lead. Amongst the books I brought with me, there's one with an inconspicuous book with a simple red cover. "From One Space to Another" is the title of the book. It is a romance story about a girl who can teleport from one place to another and a boy who was from another parallel universe.

Ah, I've been waiting for that question since earlier. "I'm glad you asked. You see, this is the real world. Reality. But what you're living in could be called another world, but a different world where people from the real world such as us, create plots and characters to our own liking. That is what we call a book, or a novel. We read it but you get to live a life in that world of yours with your own thoughts, dreams, ideals, ambition, interests and actions, but it will all follow according to the Author's plot. And if the story is finished, I'm not sure what happens next. And the world you are living in is called 'Endless Poison Love', its a fantasy-romance novel." I explained.
