Alien Mate

Alien Mate

Lex could have sworn he saw a flash of pain in her eyes, but it left as quickly as it came, and with a stiff nod, Maya finished whatever she did in her food preparation area and handed him a plate with steaming food. They ate in silence, Lex too fascinated by the concept of food cooked and created from raw ingredients and enthralled by the taste to do any more than eat. On his planet, only the finest restaurants and naturalists cooked in that method. Everyone else used a food replicator from the culinary series. The newest one, the Culinary 6000, boasted over one million dishes.

His Mail Order Bride

His Mail Order Bride

I mutter back, hoping he thinks I'm talking about the food. "One moment, please," he mutters, quickly putting on a shirt from the wardrobe – something they've probably prepared as well. After dishing out the meal, we both take our seats across from each other, engaging in conversation as we eat. The Mauritian cuisine is a treasure trove of delicious treats, each burst of flavor more surprising than the last. We've enjoyed a variety of dishes, the names of which I'm unfamiliar with, but they are undoubtedly far more exciting than the bland, chronically healthy foods I was used to eating due to Emma's condition. I particularly love the dumplings filled with meat and the equally delicious broth

Fated To The Rogue King

Fated To The Rogue King

I was about to protest, but when the warmth and the rich taste sank into my tongue, a satisfied moan followed. “This is good.” “I haven’t tasted anything like this before.” “Do you like it?” I nodded. “I don’t think our chefs have ever made anything like it.” “They couldn’t—it’s a recipe from my territory.” My chewing slowed and he scoffed. “What? Do you think because we are rogues we’d be savages that eat rats and shit?” “I… I didn’t say that.” “Hmm.” He lifted the spoon again, already filled, and I took it between my lips.

The Alpha's Twisted Fate

The Alpha's Twisted Fate

I might die before I even begin. I'm no novice. I just think it is only worth it with my mate and l hate that thought! I hate it even more now! Silently the trolley of food was pushed in our direction but I didn't have much appetite to be excited about eating. "I choose what l like to eat here, l hope you like it?” He chortled, tilting his head cutely to the side. He seems sad but he is trying to hide it. "Nicoise Beef?" I murmured and picked up my cutlery. Made up of quail eggs, purple potatoes, camona tomatoes, sprouts, mayonnaise and so on.

Groom who wasn't meant to be

Groom who wasn't meant to be

It was a matter of nostalgia. Did Zarek contact him for the catering services? My eyes narrowed in suspicion. I dismissed my concern the next second. It was simply impossible. The catering was done by a six-star restaurant chain under Zarek. It must be a coincidence. Possibly, the chef saw the recipe on Uncle Sam's social media wall and copied, like most others. Besides, if Zarek was kind enough to find out about his prospective bride's preference, he would have prepared truffle risotto, butter poached salmon, panna cotta, or white strawberries. Summer's absolute favorites.

Married a Secret Billionaire

Married a Secret Billionaire

The Michelin-star chefs stood on both sides, all looking at Cordelia in anticipation, hoping to be picked. Cordelia was puzzled. “Grandpa?” “What cuisine would you like to have today?” Liam asked with a grin. Cordelia winced, looking at the chefs of different ethnicities and nationalities. There were chefs from Chaiseland, Feranche, Etalia, Ilbon, Taeguk, Asperia… Liam had basically gotten all the cuisines in the whole world into his house. Cordelia had trouble deciding what to eat. While she mulled over the options, Zephyr had gone through the menu and placed it on the servant’s tray gracefully.

Mint Mocha
I've only read two books on this app. This is the second and by far the best one. The storylines are fluid, the characters are endowed with personality and most importantly the writer makes them come together seamlessly. Ideally, this is what the experience should be, uncomplicated and enjoyable.

I like the story. However, the cost is high for books on here and they are never ending. Not that the chapters are long, but it is almost the same outlying as the other books from this author. Sometimes it takes a moment to see what characters they have actively engaged in that chapter.

Is It Love? I: The Princess and the Hunter

Is It Love? I: The Princess and the Hunter

"Okay, to our cooks and chefs, we need to make sure the foods we'll serve for our customers. And, our own version of ambrosia." "Leave the experiments to us. What we need is the list of foods we need to make. Let's make something that's not familiar to them. Especially how it was plated, and the taste must be unfamiliar to them so it will be a very big hit!" Dexter, one of the chefs. Hmmm, he's right. We will that kind of food. "What about a bread with a twist? Like, something like croissants, like that. Something was inside the bread?" Amelie. Hmm, that's good too since gods and goddesses are used to drink wines, ambrosia and, breads.

Look At Me, Oneil

Look At Me, Oneil

But in the name of jealousy, he keeps his boundary from the new girl in town. It was another day for Riley to keep himself inside the hut. Essi might arrive with another dish to give him. She had different delicacies, varying in kind, but all are of excellent presentation. There were hints that it could be a French delicacy or an impression of a Californian taste. He once heard about Cioppino and could only imagine how tomatoes might work with clams to surround his taste buds. He would never be sure about the taste since Marika would search for it and prohibit him from eating the dish. Marika would always warn him that the food might have a potion. A local term made it more dreadful for him

Provoking a Graceful Bloom

Provoking a Graceful Bloom

From then on, it was Sally who stayed by Selena's side. As they left the city gates, Sally spoke up suddenly, "My lady, a new restaurant has opened in the city. I heard their food is very unique. They have dishes from the desert regions." Selena raised an eyebrow. "Dishes from the desert regions?" That was unusual. Cuisine from the desert regions was considered something of a rarity in the capital. Few truly appreciated it, and most people didn't even know what food came from there. Then again... what food did the desert regions really have?
