Hello there my lovely readers!!! Thank you for choosing this book to read. I am a newbie writer here. This is my first contracted book here in Good Novel. I hope you'll continue to read it until it's complete. I'm being sorry for all the mistakes you'll find in it. I am very much willing to take your pieces of advice, comments, reviews, and suggestions in every chapter. Well, this is my first book so improving it to where you want is my priority right now.

First of all, I want to thank everyone who have read up to this point! I'm terribly sorry for disappearing for a few days. I was dealing with emergency family matter. I admit that I didn't really have a system in place to write for this platform, so I don't have enough reserve chapters to be able to consistently update. This is also my very first venture to the world of online novels. A lot of things I still have to learn, and this book seemed like a good idea when I first started coming up with it. Who knew that after reading more, I begin to realize how slow the openings are, etc.

I got clarity in so many things and it helped me keeping my sanity in this golden cage. I had to admit, I even drafted a first copy of a novel, which I would love to proofread and publish it in future if I'm allowed to. I thought my story had a good emotional quotient and that would gave me a way for my writing career that I never thought I would be taking up. I was here, in this unknown country, in the huge mansion, completely alone and I hated my presence here. I missed my home, my country and I was dying to get back to there.

Today I actually write it. I ask Elena for notepaper without explaining why. She brings it without asking, which is one of the small things I have come to appreciate about Elena.. she has decided, somewhere along the way, that her job is to make things run smoothly and not to understand why. She is very good at her job. I sit at the small desk by the window with the notepaper and a pen and I begin. The first draft is too cold. Two paragraphs of careful language that sound like a contract response, all acknowledgment and no person. I read it back and hear Gloria in every sentence.. the performed distance, the preemptive armor.. and I fold it in half and set it aside.
