AN ALPHA'S GAME

AN ALPHA'S GAME

"You claim not to have any treasures left in your pack, and I just stomached an insult to my alpha. We could make a fair deal, that way, my alpha and our troops would stay away from your people for the next twelve moons." Father shut his eyes for a few seconds. I could see him from the corner of my eye. "What do you want?" Logan spun to face my father. "I want her." He pointed at me. Father looked at me in wide-eyed horror. He wouldn't agree to such blatant demand. I didn't wait to hear it. "You all must be mad!" I said as I turned and walked out of the throne room. *** I stood at the window staring at the bayou, my pack land. We used to be the most prosperous pack on the Western Mountainsid

The Rejected Mate's Curse

The Rejected Mate's Curse

Two lines, buried in the middle of the text. “I never thought something so small would be so hard to find. It looks like a tiny blueberry. They only grow at the top of the snow-capped Northern Mountains. It is such a rare plant that very little is even there, but it had to be enough. Alastair can never know about it, or he will destroy it.” My heart skipped a beat. I wanted to shout, to jump up and run to Ryker, but I held myself back. I couldn’t risk making a noise, not yet. I closed the book and rushed to find him.

The Alpha's Bargain

The Alpha's Bargain

My paws found purchase on ground that would have sent a human stumbling, while my nose cataloged scents layered like pages in an ancient book—deer that had passed hours ago, the musk of a fox denning nearby, the green smell of sap bleeding from a wounded oak. But tonight, even the familiar comfort of the hunt couldn't quiet the restlessness that had been building in my chest for weeks. The curse had its rhythms, its predictable ebbs and flows, but this was different. This felt like standing at the edge of a cliff, waiting for something to either pull me back or push me over.

Claiming The Alpha

Claiming The Alpha

“So that way.” 16B was a much larger section than I expected. Still, it made sense since wolves were always passing down stories to the younger generations, true or not. “Found it,” I said. It took forty-five minutes but I found a book on the Moon Blessed that was not a kid's bedtime story. “When the Goddess becomes a man,” I read out the title. From the cover, I could tell it was still a fiction story for the most part. But it was better than nothing at all.

Alpha's Assassin

Alpha's Assassin

One word and I’m instantly thrown back to the two girls sitting under a blanket and making plans for a future that will never happen. “Yeah, O, we’re going to Alaska.” I whisper back as I lift one of the scalpels from the case. “Where the snow is white and the sky is lit up with lights of all different colours. We’ll finally be safe and we’ll never have to kill again. Just you and me.” I lick my dry lips as I lift the scalpel with a shaking hand and hold it close just behind her ear; one sharp thrust and my friend will be gone.

THE GOODBYE HE MISSED

THE GOODBYE HE MISSED

"Can we go to the bookshop?" They went. The shop occupied a converted house three streets over, with a resident dog named Duchess who greeted Noah by name and a whole shelf dedicated to field guides that Noah navigated with the confidence of a regular. He selected three books with careful deliberation — one on Pacific Northwest raptors, one a slim volume on migratory patterns he'd apparently been eyeing for weeks, and a third that surprised Adrian: a novel about a woman who builds something from nothing, its cover showing a small house under construction against a wide sky. "That one's for Mom," Noah said, setting it on the counter with the others. "She'll like it. Because she's Mom."

great start..concise with nuances. hope it would end the same way. not tooo many chapters that the main characters became watered down with so many side stories. i'm reading along slowly... so that i don't have to wait for updates. keep up the good work, dear author!

I want be clear when I say that I really like the story. It is engaging & draws you in, keeping you needing more. But if I never read the words "specific" or "particular" again, it will be too soon. About 60% of the sentences where they appear can be read without them & carry the same impact.

THE ALPHA AND I

THE ALPHA AND I

FLASHBACK YEARS AGO INTO THE WOODS The night was surprisingly quiet and the owls hooted while hanging on the branches of the trees as a sudden cry of pain and anguish were heard far into the woods. A huge black wolf with glowing eyes was being tied down by many wolves, it's was a beta and it was being betrayed by his pack. A pale looking woman was crying on the floor as she was been raped by the alpha of the pack, her cloths were roughly torn, her claws scratched the floor due to struggle and as she cried her fangs came in view. She was a vampire, a very beautiful Vampire. The wolf which was abushed was Derek and the woman crying for help was his beautiful wife Lydia and hiding under the tab

I was tempted to go and look at it myself but I had to trust the inspector was thorough. RING RING RING “You better have something,” I said, answering. “We just got word she ditched her car and bought a truck, but we have the plate number for that one. I’m getting a flight now,” he said. “A flight? Where did she go,” I said, getting to my feet and pacing. “Alaska, her car is in Alaska,” he said, and I stopped suddenly. “What the hell is up there,” I asked. “Not sure, I mean some wolves live in packs, you know isolated. Maybe she’s got family up there. Maybe the mom is her family who knows,” he said.

I was uncertain if I liked it for the first 5-10 chapters but I kept going & it was worth it. Everything eventually made sense & was explained through the book. it was different from other books on this app that just explains as they go, and I loved the change!

Hi author, I just want to say I'm thoroughly enjoying this book. Love Mila! I just have one question: why did Damon end up marking trixie? Was it because Damien marked trixie, mate bond pull, to be king, or did he care for her prior to that? I didn't see it mentioned or discussed or asked by Trixie.

Curse Of The Alpha King

Curse Of The Alpha King

Authors Note - From this chapter onwards, our story begins and would revolve around Alaska. There would be no place diversions from Alaska, to New York and vice versa, as our main lead is now in Alaska till further notice. It's time to take us all on this bumpy ride, and the events that would lead to Adolph and Daciana meeting. Happy Reading... (Early hours of the day, after leaving Daciana back at Helene's Shack) RUBY
