Stolen by the Mafia King

Stolen by the Mafia King

“I’ve already got a study, a library, and a dining area. So for a long time, I was stuck not knowing what to do with so many rooms.” So he stopped using those rooms entirely. Which meant he put an end to all the torturing and tormenting. No wonder he had to make use of rumours and his nickname to keep up with the fearsome image. I felt a smile on my lips as we turned from the glassdoor at the end of the hallway and continued strolling in the opposite direction. “So they all become bedrooms. Which is useful, isn’t it? They become some sort of a maze for your assassins.”

Vampire Covenant Room

Vampire Covenant Room

Bohdan asked. “Not very often, but sometimes a rich industrialist will come and pay to have an armed escort down here. It’s usually a huge deal when they do and they have lots of armed guards. Now that you’re here, I’m sure we’ll have a lot more of them showing up. I bet they give you a room of your own.” “What do you mean a room of my own?” Bohdan asked. “There are three building here, one is filled with the Mormons, the other with miners. The third is torn to pieces and is filled with rats and shit. Most of the vampires use it as a toilet.”

In The Smoke-Filled Room

In The Smoke-Filled Room

Sharon was proving a useful ally, but he knew better than to trust her too much. There was always another agenda with women like Sharon. The elevator dinged, the doors slid open, and he found himself in a plush, carpeted hallway. Leo stepped out; his polished shoes made no sound on the thick carpet. He found Room 1408 at the far end, its door slightly ajar. Leo's brow furrowed, but he didn't hesitate. He pushed the door open and stepped inside. The room was not well-lit; the soft light from a single lamp cast long shadows on the walls.

The Dual Claim

The Dual Claim

There were four other rooms to choose from in this enormous house. My old room, which was funny to call it that seeing as how I spent only a few days here, was directly across from the bathroom. Sam and Elara’s suite was at the other end of the hall. “I was thinking of this room,” she opened the door to the round room. The outside walls were rounded and filled with windows giving the room plenty of natural light. “This room is gorgeous,” I said as I walked into the middle of it. “What are you going to do with all the books?”

THE BIDDING ROOM

THE BIDDING ROOM

************* Evelyn didn’t sleep the night Lucien moved her. The new wing was nothing like her previous room. That one had felt like a hotel suite, impersonal, polished, and distant. This one was older, broader hallways, higher ceilings, and doors with carved patterns like secrets trapped in wood. The air carried a faint scent of sandalwood and winter smoke. His scent. She shouldn’t have noticed that. She cursed herself for noticing anyway. The room itself was beautiful: velvet drapes, blackened oak shelves, a balcony overlooking the courtyard. But beauty wasn’t comforting. The beauty was camouflage. Beauty was the precise way danger hid.

The Roommate

The Roommate

But Kaitlyn wondered if they'd ever be able to, Jackson was like mist. He faded away when you tried to grasp it. She walked up the stairs to her bedroom, and the emptiness felt different this time. She sat on the bed, noting the yellow photo album laying innocently in the corner of the room. She crossed the room and opened it. Then without thinking, she left her room, standing outside of Jackson's old room. She took a deep breath in, before walking in. It was neat, and cold. Untouched.

This book is so captivating ! It truly captures the realism of emotional/psychological abuse, complications of the heart, friendship, and how everyone has their side to a story/not everything being as it seems! I enjoyed the twists and turns that it took me on!

Wow! This was really an amazing book. It's definitely a page turner. It was also unique compared to so many love stories out there. The topics of narcism & gaslighting are important along with mental health. This book could be so much better with proper editing and proofreading. Vocabulary was good.

The Coochie Diaries

The Coochie Diaries

Episode 20 – Room 219 The key to Room 219 felt heavy in my hand, a cold, ornate brass thing that seemed to hold more promise than any electronic keycard ever could. The hotel was old-world elegance, all dark wood, hushed corridors, and the faint scent of polish and secrets. I'd booked it on a whim, a desperate lunge against the crushing monotony of my life. A weekend alone. No names. No strings. Just me, a stack of unread books, and the silence.

Horror Game With My Cheating Ex

Horror Game With My Cheating Ex

】 【Comment 4: Doesn't matter what she did, she's about to die anyway】 【Comment 5: I bet she won't even make it inside the room】 I pushed the door open and peered inside. The room was huge, with a skylight and a small balcony. The decor was old, but the space was generous. Most importantly, it was quiet. "Not bad," I nodded, satisfied. Then I called out into the empty darkness: "Hey. New roommate moving in. Hope you don't mind a little mess."

More Than Roommates

And a chest that that says they/them “Uh,” I say. “I’m trying to find Room 2B. The Queer Collective intake… thing.” They brighten instantly, the posters bobbing as they adjust their grip. “You’re early. Good. People usually wander in forty minutes late and then pretend they weren’t lost.” I offer a weak smile. “I’m one of those apparently.” “It’s like a rite of passage,” they say, stepping forward. “Come on. I’ll walk you. This building is a maze unless you’ve cried in it at least twice.”
