The Roommate

The Roommate

Her evening might have been more interesting if Olivia had attended, but the brunette was off on a date with her parents instead. Olivia's mom was amazing, Kaitlyn wished she could have went too. With a sigh, set down her glass. At least, she could enjoy the music playing thoughtout the large room. Kaitlyn had to admit the psychology department knew how to decorate. Rather than an expo, the large, conference room looked like it had been dressed for a party. The glass décor was pristine, and the sparkling champagne flutes set the mood. Each presenter was dressed in his or her finest attire and the guests looked as though they were going to the opera. Kaitlyn glanced down at her own pencil ski

This book is so captivating ! It truly captures the realism of emotional/psychological abuse, complications of the heart, friendship, and how everyone has their side to a story/not everything being as it seems! I enjoyed the twists and turns that it took me on!

Wow! This was really an amazing book. It's definitely a page turner. It was also unique compared to so many love stories out there. The topics of narcism & gaslighting are important along with mental health. This book could be so much better with proper editing and proofreading. Vocabulary was good.

Accidentally Kidnapping The Don

Accidentally Kidnapping The Don

We reach the door, and I push it open, guiding her inside. What was once a plain room is now transformed into a haven for her. The room is filled with bookshelves that line the walls, each one crammed with books of romance and smut. A cozy reading nook is situated by the window, complete with a large, comfortable armchair and a soft throw blanket. A plush rug covers the wooden floor, and a warm, inviting color palette of deep greens and rich browns gives the space a calming, intellectual ambiance. There’s a small desk in the corner for writing or studying, and soft lighting fixtures ensure the room is always well-lit but never harsh. A few framed prints of her favourite literature and inspir

Absolutely loving this book. Not sure how I came across it, but found it and read first 15 chapters in an hour, without being able to put it down. It literally makes me LOL! Love the crazy dynamic between Demitri and Demi! Will update my post when I finish it. Hopefully end is as good as the start.

loving both books. but in the second book, the chapter Her Weirdness and A Suprise are the same and there's a chapter missing. I'm guessing A Suprise is the chapter that's a duplicate and the proper chapter is the missing one as you miss what keeley tells her. can this be made right please

The Unexpected Roomate

The Unexpected Roomate

"Men can be." Grace blurted up, "I know, Mom," unwilling to hear any generalization that might be forthcoming. “I have to leave.” Tomorrow is the deadline. Grace pulled herself from the call and went back to her review with a newfound resolve. She had just finished three paragraphs when Elena texted her on her phone. "How's domestic bliss with Chef Hottie? 😘" Grace gave an eye roll. "We're roommates, not newlyweds." “That does not negate how attractive he is.” "Interesting."

STEPBROTHER'S PUNISHES ME EVERYNIGHT

STEPBROTHER'S PUNISHES ME EVERYNIGHT

But as I pushed the door open, all four of them shamlessly pushed past me into my apartment. "Excuse me!" I shrieked, following them inside. "I didn't invite you in!" Thank God. The living room is clear. No toys scattered around, no little backpacks by the door. Rolex was already examining my bookshelves, running his fingers along medical textbooks. "Nice place. Very... clean." "Too clean," Nathan observed, his keen eyes scanning the space. "Almost like no one really lives here." Shit. Of course they'd notice. They always were too observant for their own good.

Horror Game With My Cheating Ex

Horror Game With My Cheating Ex

】 【Comment 4: Doesn't matter what she did, she's about to die anyway】 【Comment 5: I bet she won't even make it inside the room】 I pushed the door open and peered inside. The room was huge, with a skylight and a small balcony. The decor was old, but the space was generous. Most importantly, it was quiet. "Not bad," I nodded, satisfied. Then I called out into the empty darkness: "Hey. New roommate moving in. Hope you don't mind a little mess."

The Mafia King's Obsession

The Mafia King's Obsession

APRIL The room is nothing like what I imagined. A tall bookcase lines one wall, packed with classical novels, every one of them leather bound and carefully arranged. There is no television anywhere. Heavy velvet curtains in deep crimson block out the outside world, thick enough to swallow sound and light. A large fireplace dominates the far wall, flames snapping and popping as it throws out real heat. Standing close to the fire, palms stretched toward the warmth, a long breath slips out. The chill from the journey finally leaves my fingers. Eyes wander again, taking everything in slowly.

The Billionaire’s Regret Clause; One Year Together. One Love

At mid-morning, Don put down his pen and stretched his fingers — the way he did when he had been writing for an extended period and his hand required a pause. "The books were correct about this," Don said. "The dark," Ernest said. "The dark and the indoor quality it produces," Don said. "The Norwegian relationship to the interior. The specific way a Norwegian room is furnished and lit and heated — it is not the same as an English room in winter. It is a room that has been designed with the full knowledge of what winter requires. The hotel room has this quality. I have been noticing it since we arrived."

MY SECOND-CHANCE MATE IS A WOLF HUNTER

MY SECOND-CHANCE MATE IS A WOLF HUNTER

I hadn’t spent long outside, so I hoped it was enough time for Morning to gather herself and be ready for me to enter the room. I entered the room and closed the door behind me. I saw that the bathroom door was locked, presumably with Morning inside. But I doubted that she was using the bathroom for conventional purposes. I looked around the room. It was small. But surprisingly standard for a small inn in the middle of a small border town. The other inn that Rowena and the others had stayed in before was different from this. But that was deeper into the heart of the town. There was a single medium sized bed in the room. It would barely be enough to contain two people, and it definitely would

I feel so refreshed reading this. Phoenix is a vibe. And the FL, she's just too funny. She knows nothing abd asks about everything. Nice to see her grow from her mate's betrayal. But, am worried about something. Phoenix is nice to Morning, but I'm scared he has an ulterior motive that's still hidden

This is wonderful, I was really expecting morning to be a soft, damsel in distress only for her to rampage and kill those bloody bastards. I felt satisfaction at that point, seeing too many weak female leads have done something to my mental health. I'm happy the author makes the female lead strong

Game Over, Evil Roommate

Game Over, Evil Roommate

"Ha! Serves her right. She pretended to be a sweet and rich girl, and now she's been exposed. Karma, am I right?" Serena asked if I felt satisfied, but I only smiled and shook my head. Ever since moving into my new dorm, I have been going out with my roommates. We ate together, played murder mystery games, and went to karaoke. I finally felt how joyful college life was. Sometimes I wondered if, in my previous life, I had been roommates with Serena from the start, maybe my ending would not have been so tragic. Unfortunately, my good mood did not last long.

Frequently Asked Questions

The time it takes to read 'Room' really depends on your reading speed and how deeply you immerse yourself in the story. For me, it was one of those books I couldn't put down—I finished it in about two days, reading for several hours each day. The novel's gripping narrative and unique perspective from young Jack make it a page-turner. If you're a slower reader or prefer to savor each chapter, it might take a week or so. The book is around 400 pages, but the language isn't overly complex, so it flows quickly once you get into the rhythm of Jack's voice.

What surprised me was how emotionally draining yet rewarding the experience was. The intensity of the plot kept me hooked, but I had to take short breaks to process certain scenes. If you're someone who enjoys analyzing themes as you read, you might spend extra time reflecting, which could stretch the reading time. Either way, 'Room' is worth every minute you invest in it—it's a story that lingers long after the last page.
