I picked a fluffy pink towel before I went inside the shower/bathtub as I took a long shower. I sighed as the warm water hit my body and I went to brush it. I looked around and saw the products that Alex used. There were herbal essence shampoo and conditioner, Body Shop body wash, and some shaving cream for his face. I smiled as I can see Alex in this small setting. It’s nice to know that his presence was there.

I asked her as I picked up each bottle and sniffed it. Coconut. Vanilla. Lavender. Rose petal. Tropical. Mint. So many options. “Whichever one you want. I do not care.” With a huge grin, I picked up each one and poured a dime size amount on my body then proceeded to mix them all together as I washed my body. “I am going to smell way better than you after this. You will be jealous.” I claimed and I continued to wash all of the crevices on my body. “How do I wash my hair. I do not see a three in one shampoo anywhere here. Do you need to go shopping?” I asked as I looked around the bathroom feeling lost as ever.

Nothing good came from using a mask. Since the only 2 he identified were shower gel and shampoo, those are the two he uses. When he uncovers the shower gel he smiles. It smells like jasmine, one of her mother's scents. She always smelled like jasmine and sandalwood. A tear threatens to come out, but he shoos it away. Pouring a generous amount onto a cloth, rub energetically until his body feels clean. The shampoo was the same brand, and when he sniffed it, the familiar jasmine scent filled his nostrils. Without thinking about it further, he pours a large amount and washes his hair. When he rubs his hair, he makes a note to use less product next time, as it lathers too much.

Beautiful enough to ruin a man’s self-control completely. Leonel’s throat tightened. He forced himself to look away and reached for the shampoo bottle instead. “Want me to wash your hair?” he asked quietly. Navia didn’t answer. The warm steam carried the soft scent of her shampoo through the air—rose and jasmine with a faint minty undertone. Her favorite. Leonel lowered his eyes, his movements careful and gentle as his fingers massaged her scalp slowly, trying to soothe her frayed nerves. Gradually, Navia relaxed against the edge of the tub like a sleepy cat.

I’d have to ask Lily, but for now I’d have to settle for a shampoo from my mate’s own collection. Peeking up at the shower caddy, I squinted at the products there. Active Fresh? With a… Bold and Vibrant Musk? I giggled a little at the sight of the ‘manly’ names. With a hum, I picked up the other shampoo that I saw in the shower caddy hung at eye level. It was a wonderful scent of citrus and some sort of wooden musk that immediately reminded me of Richard. I grinned to myself, lathering up my hair and washing it with a light mood.

Several minutes pass before I finally step out of the shower and wipe the water from my eyes. Blinking several times, I locate a corner shelf that holds shampoo and body wash that is very obviously a man’s. Seeing no other soap, I pick up the shampoo and squirt out a palm full. I place the bottle back on the shelf before rubbing the shampoo into my hair section by section. The soap quickly works into a lather and I massage it deeply into my scalp, brushing my fingers through the strands of hair.

“That’s your mistake. You rely only on magic for wealth. But I remember a world where things could sell even without enchantment. Soap. Shampoo.” The merchant frowned. “Soap? Shampoo?” I almost smiled. I’d forgotten how foreign this would sound here. “Items,” I explained, “used to cleanse the body and hair. Without spells. Physical products anyone can use.” I stood, walking over to the wide shelf behind my desk, where scrolls and books from the new realm I’d carried with me lay.
