There were small burns around my throat, but nothing that I suspected wouldn't heal eventually.
Stepping into the shower, I grinned at the bottles lining the shelf, my shampoo and conditioner; I had used this since I was a kid, and I loved how it smelt. I guess they had been to my apartment and got them when they got the rest of my things. Running my finger over the cap, though, I paused, seeing them still sealed.
"They are new!" I whispered, my brain buzzing.
"And?" Ava laughed, itching for me to step under the hot spray so the heat could ease our achy bones.
