November Novel Writing Novels & Stories

November moves differently than October did. October was emergency rooms and midnight calls and sessions that changed the shape of things. November is something else. It has the quality of a month that knows it follows something enormous and has decided not to compete with it. Just to be the month that comes after. I resume back to work on Monday.

Millbrook in November was different from Millbrook in October. October had the drama — the colour, the specific urgency of a landscape preparing itself for something, the light doing its most theatrical work before the long plainness of winter settled in. November had something else. The quieter thing. The thing that arrived after the performance had concluded and the audience had gone home and the stage was just a stage again. Elena loved November in Millbrook. She had not expected this.

Mary Davies I woke up this morning to find out I have a new email notifications on my phone. I sat up in bed, as I scrolled through my phone. I hardly have messages in my G***l, apart from the few messages I get from the new blog I follow since I have gotten here in Minazuela. The story had to feel genuine and I waited until I knew it was perfect and respectful enough to write. 2. I did not know how I was going to write it. I didn't know if I wanted it to be a poem, a 50 page book, a novel, or whatever. I knew I had a message I wanted to tell, but I wanted to make the story interesting as well. Now I only save my novels and sometimes I publish to the public through applications or websites that accept scripts.
