Now Pour The Tea Novels & Stories

she arranged the pot and the cups and pretended to brew some tea. “I feel silly” she chuckled. “You are silly. You don’t know how to use it properly” “It’s a tea set, D. That’s the only purpose of tea set. Brew and pour. After a few hours you’re still brewing and pouring” she felt irritated at Daniel’s remarks. “Now I hear myself, I think it’s really silly” she chuckled again. “Do it like this” Daniel attached the cups to each other and made a stack. “Pour the tea from the top cup and the tea will flow to the bottom” he finished his demonstration.

“Slow down, lest not be hasty, your actions have done nothing to support your case, till then why don't we just refrain from the sisterly endearments?” “Sure thing.” Akira watched the Gorgon handmaid walk in with a platter holding a tea pot and two tea cups… She filled the cups up and followed the specific instructions set by Khora to the amazement of Akira, two sugar cubes, no stirring, (she loves the sugar rush when she's about ti empty her cup) “Your hands should be able to hold a cup no?” Khora asked. Akira picked up the cup and took a sip. Khora was right, she did know how to make tea just the way she loved it and the hint of lemon only made her remember Orion. She needed to get out of h

“I don’t think I want to eat anything right now, to be honest. I don’t know, I feel strange. Maybe I should take a shower.” “Okay, but trust me, drink this first,” she said. “Is it tea?” “Yes. It’s really good. It’s going to help you.” “Okay,” I said, even though I didn’t really want the tea. So I took a few sips. It was really nice, and yeah… it made me feel, I don’t know, a little bit energetic, I guess. After taking a few sips, Nadia placed something between the two of us....a packet.

Lio stared into my eyes for a moment before he moved his hand up behind my head and pushed my lips against his. After a short time, Adel came back into the living room with a beautiful porcelain teapot and three matching cups on a serving tray. She set the tray down on the table carefully. The tea set was polished black with gold cherry blossom designs on each piece. The tea pot handle was wooden and hooked onto the pot, it was really pretty. Adel poured all of us a cup and we each took one. I could tell from the aroma it was white tea. It had a very unique scent unlike Green Tea.

Items that will be gentle on her stomach. Now that the water has come to a boil I fill the teacup, with its tea bag patiently waiting at the bottom. Happy with how it looks, I carry it back to the living room, where Xander and Nora sit patiently waiting on my return. “Oh, Char, you didn’t need to do all this.”

It was a ritual she had taught him back when they were living together. As he poured the hot water over the tea leaves, the familiar scent of black tea filled the air. He let it steep for the right amount of time, every step of the process deeply ingrained in his memory. He carefully poured the tea into a cup, the steam rising in gentle tendrils. He turned to Serena, who was now sitting on the kitchen counter, her eyes still watery but her expression calmer. He approached her slowly, holding out the cup of tea. “Here,” he said softly, “just like you taught me.”

She said looking at the girl who just stand there looking confused. Is there a way to pour tea? Eve asked. "Listen, you place the cup on the saucer with ease, then you hold the kettle by the handle with one hand and the other on the lid. Then you pour slowly." How's that hard? "And make sure you bow your head while doing it and after you're done. Now do it again." she explained. "Now do it again." She did it again and again but still didn't get the woman satisfied. "I told you, bow your head after pouring, don't look up." The woman said in frustration.

Leaning over the tray she swiftly uncorked the bottle. Squeezing a few drops into the teapot with painstaking precision she watched as the liquid moved into the dark tea and vanished seamlessly. She then added a few more drops to the milk pitcher causing the hazy material to blend in with the white until it was impossible to tell them apart. She stuffed the bottle back into her purse and quickly capped it. To give the impression that she had never touched the fruit bowl she then straightened the spoon repositioned the napkin and even moved it a tiny bit.

Layla said with a small smile before sitting down on the soft blanket. Soon the kettle started to boil and Atreus brought over a tray and sat it down on the side of the blanket next to Layla. Kneeling, he placed a strainer over the cup and sprinkled the tea leaves on top. Layla watched as he slowly poured the water over the leaves. The steam rose from the glass and the scent of the herbs permeated the air. "Thank you," Layla said softly after he had finished. She picked up the cup and he sat down on the blanket next to her. She blew softly on the hot beverage before taking a tentative sip.

When I stepped out, towel around my waist, something hit me. The tea. I wanted it a little stronger tonight. More sugar. More of everything. I pulled on sweatpants and a T-shirt. Walked back downstairs barefoot. The hallway light was dim. The kitchen door was cracked open just enough. I pushed it slightly and quietly to tell her. And froze. Delaney stood at the counter. Back to me. She was stirring my tea. slowly and carefully. Then she reached into her pocket. Pulled out a small plastic bottle. Unscrewed the cap. Tipped a few drops into the cup. Stirred again. Like it was nothing.
