So Close to Being in Love

So Close to Being in Love

In order to fall asleep, I closed my eyes. He is, after all, my neighbour next door. My phone rang. Who's calling me now? I took my phone and saw the display. It was from an unknown number. I answered, "Hello?" "Did you get home safe?" "Who's this?" "Mike. Your brother's friend. Did you get home?" "Yeah, I'm in my room right now." "I'm glad to hear that." "How did you get my number?" "I asked your brother." "Okay."

My Next Door Neighbor

My Next Door Neighbor

He was almost as hopeless as his neighbor was, it seemed. —I’ve been watching my neighbor for about a week and a half, and I can’t help but wonder why he’s alone. I’ve told myself a thousand times it’s none of my business, but then again, considering I’ve been spying on him, wondering why he doesn’t have a girlfriend or isn’t married almost seems normal. So why is he alone? He’s gorgeous, I think almost every woman in town tried to get him to look their way and some are still hopeful.

My New Neighbour

My New Neighbour

I wondered. I walked slowly towards the window with my arms wrapped around me. I grabbed the window handles to pull them back to close it but I stopped midway when I noticed the lights next door. Who could that be? The house beside us was empty for over a year. I squinted and could actually see the inside of the room through the window adjoining mine. Like seriously, I could strangle the guy who constructed these houses like that. So damn close! Anyway, we finally got some new neighbours. What an odd time to move in though, I couldn't help but think. I just hope they would be nice. My parents could have some pals.

Will there be a second book? I noticed the author doesn’t comment on anything so I’m gonna guess and say no that the readers don’t seem to matter with zero interaction from the author.. good book though.

I so enjoyed reading this and am so excited to start the second one. This novel was very well written and kept me interested. I like happy endings and the threat of revenge still is something to be aware of. The writer of this story is very talented

The Villainess' Revenge

The Villainess' Revenge

The neighbour politely asked as she stared at the unfamiliar figure. "Hello, My name is Reine and I am one of Madison closet friends, I have been calling her number for quite some while now and she never picked up her calls, so I wondered that she might be at home, that's why I am here, Is she at home at all?" Reine asked with a somewhat friendly smile, only one who was wise enough could see it was all a facade. The neighbour shook her head in dismay, "I am sorry, but I haven't see Madison for quite some days now, is anything wrong with her?"

Neighbors

Neighbors

Pressing my lips into a thin line, I hold his gaze, "We were enjoying each other's company for a while; I will not even call it infatuation. And I am glad it was nothing serious because I can never be the other woman in someone's life." He snaps his eyes to me, and I can see anger swirling in them, but he chooses to stay quiet. Smart man. "I really appreciate how you handled Justin today, but it is better that we both stay away from each other's lives." Tearing my eyes away from him, I stare at the wall before me. "So this will be the last time we had talked about any of this because, for me, you are just my neighbor... nothing but an acquaintance." I can feel him staring at me, but I choose

THE OBSESSED AND PSYCHOPATHIC NEIGHBOR

A man in black walked out from the house opposite mine and collected the car keys from Axell. “Welcome, sir. I will take the car inside” He got into the car and drove into the apartment opposite mine. Okay, what the fuck is going on? “I guess we are neighbors, Miss Avery. Feels good, right?”

Touch Me, Daddy

Touch Me, Daddy

"I stay there." "Oh, really?" He sounded so disinterested, his eyes right back on Kya. "Yeah, number 16." At the mention of my house number, he looked back at me instantly. "Really?" I nodded. "Yeah." "That means we're neighbors! I stay at number 17." "Oh, how wonderful!" Kya gushed, stealing his attention again as she leaned against the counter so he could get a better view of her tits. "Tessa is my best friend. She's super cool, anyways, so I have no doubt you two will get along quite well."

Scars Between Us

Scars Between Us

We both said at the same time "Don't tell me you live here too" I creased my eyebrows and looked at the person with an oddly familiar voice. My mood fell. I just started my day and it's already like this? "Really out of all the people in the world why do you have to be my neighbour?" "Hello neighbour the name is Jaxon"

The First Heir

The First Heir

Jim hurried to the nearest computer to take a look. With a twitch of his eye, he said, “F*ck! No internet at this time? What’s going on?” “The neighborhood is being demolished. Could it be that the network cable has been cut?” “Don't worry, just call and ask.” One of them dialed the number of the telecommunication company. After questioning, he replied, “They said there’s no disconnection notice on our side and no one nearby has reported the same problem. It's not the signal.”

love this book...the way the writer builds up the characters most especially the ML..but i was wondering why would the ML have to endure such humiliations from his inlaws when he could just show them his real 'him' as well and the enormous power that he holds considering the status of his family...w
