Marked in the Middle

Marked in the Middle

“And these nodes… what happens if we touch one? Or disable it?” Nora hesitated. “Some may collapse harmlessly. Others… might trigger residual wards, echoes of the puppet master’s control. But if we don’t, they’ll continue influencing the city, spreading corruption slowly, subtly, until someone else or something claims it.” They began to move cautiously, tracing the veins along the crystalline nodes, the pendant flaring to indicate proximity to the strongest pulses. Shadows stirred as they progressed, faint humanoid forms flickering in and out of existence, whispering fragments of orders and threats.

The Pure-Hearted Princess and the Kiss of Darkness

The Pure-Hearted Princess and the Kiss of Darkness

There is a clear white area around the wolf and where the white part goes, the dark tendrils curve around it, not touching the white. “Tell me, Kataleya, what do you think this depicts?” she asks, looking up at me. I frown, “Enrique, and he’s in danger,” I say softly. “Yes, Enrique surrounded by a darkness that looks familiar, doesn’t it?” she asks. I frown, looking down at it. “The Crawlers…” I whisper, feeling suddenly cold. “And what are these crawlers doing?” “They’re drowning Enrique- consuming him.” She nods. “And what is in the centre of this image?” she asks.

This one holds a Special place in my Heart. Perhaps because I followed the MFC & MMC from childhood but their story is one to make you feel all forms of Emotions (Good, Bad and in between) till the end of the story. I didn't want the story to end just like all this Amazing Author's other works!

I reread the book as it is completed and I have to say this story is even more enthralling then reading it while ongoing. I love this book , ever since King Alejandro, the return of her cold hearted Alpha, with Enrique and Kataleya being kids , I wanted to read this story! And it did not disappoint!

Cursed Luna

Cursed Luna

"Please, Laia, I am begging you. I can tell him to leave me and choose you instead. I just want my mother back. My father has not visited me here yet, I am so worried. The pack is in danger now, the neighboring pack is planning to attack us and our army was not well because of the curse. You love Kylo, right? Will you be happy if he loses his pack? Will you be happy seeing him grieving for his dead pack members? "I am not like you who can not jump off the cliff for him even if he was doing everything for you." She rebutted, which hit me more than it seemed. "Then undo the curse, I promise to give him to you. Please undo the curse." She stared at me and softly smiled. "I cannot undo the curse

A Woman Worth Billions, Dated the Wrong Brother

A Woman Worth Billions, Dated the Wrong Brother

"What kind of problem?" Silence. Then: "The castle." My stomach dropped. "What about it?" Pamela sighed. "Someone posted images online." My eyes narrowed. "The fake images?" "Yes." A pause. "The futuristic ones." My stomach dropped even further. The images Alice, Rose, and Iris had created. The bait. The trap. The fake version of Ember Castle. Glass towers. Neon lighting. Futuristic bridges. Holographic displays. The trap we had prepared for the Vincents.

REJECTED LUNA MARKED WITH A CURSE

REJECTED LUNA MARKED WITH A CURSE

My brows knitted slightly, confusion flickering across my face. “I… do not understand,” I replied humbly. She smiled faintly, as though she expected my confusion. “The moon does not understand the ocean, yet it commands its tides,” she said cryptically. “Listen carefully, Seraphine. A garden may welcome a new rose, but beneath the soil, serpents twist around fragile roots. There is an evil brewing in this house. Smiles will greet you, but daggers may hide behind folded hands. Trust will be offered like wine, yet poison often tastes sweet.”

The Curse of Death

The Curse of Death

Evan squeezed harder, making Carmen cough. "Die!" "Do you really want me dead? Don't you want to know where Lyra's head is?" Carmen used the last of her strength to say this. Evan froze for a moment before slowly releasing his grip. After a while, Carmen got up and opened the fridge. There were two glass jars inside with my head and kidney both soaking in formaldehyde.

The Cursed Alpha

The Cursed Alpha

Marked, cursed. My eyes strayed to Violet. Her ivory skin was finally showing, all the fur gone, and her claws had retracted, leaving a bloody mess on her fingers. I needed her to stay with me for longer, she had to stay. The pattern had been so random with the others, I couldn't tell how long we had together before the pale sky bitch took her away too.

Betrayed Before the Vows

Betrayed Before the Vows

Beside him, Camelia carefully reviewed a list of network nodes that had supposedly been decommissioned years ago. "Something about this doesn't feel right," she said, enlarging a section of the network map. William looked up. "What is it?" Camelia pointed at several gray markers. "Officially, these nodes have been offline for years." "And?" "Every time the interference appears, traces of the signal pass through these locations." William frowned. "That shouldn't be possible." "It shouldn't," Camelia agreed. "But it is." Stefan entered the room carrying a data tablet.

CEREBUS

CEREBUS

Ellie struck blindly with the broomstick; Cerebus dodged without snapping, brushing close enough that she could feel the heat of his breath. “Perfect,” she whispered. “Again.” Other days, she hid things — tennis balls marked with chalk sigils tucked into trees, buried beneath the soil, balanced on the edge of the roof. Cerebus had to find them all. Alpha sniffed carefully, Beta methodically swept the ground, while Gamma cheated by leaping straight for the rooftop with a mischievous bark. Ellie clapped, laughing so hard she fell onto the grass. “Gamma, you little cheat! That’s not strategy, that’s—” She broke off, giggling. “Actually, never mind. That’s brilliant. Keep it.”

The Cursed Bond

The Cursed Bond

I ran into Valen on my way down. "Miss Nash," he bowed his head to me, mocking me as you would bow to an Alpha. "Mr. Douche," I bowed back. "Hey, Bennet and Martel aren't back yet, are they?" He stopped half-turning to hear my answer. "I don't know. I haven't seen them." That means they haven't checked in yet, either. That can't be good. I skipped stopping at the kitchen and went to the library. I opened the open case files for Matice and Oliver. They were going after Donald Montenegro. He was a big arms dealer both in human and supernatural weapons. He was not an easy target. How were they sent alone for that? I printed the last known office address for his shell corporation and headed to D
