“Very cursed,” I confirmed, pulling out another item—a tarnished locket that felt cold even through the fabric of my gloves. “There’s been a surge in cursed artifacts popping up across the territory. They’re ancient, older than even the mate bond system. Someone’s been collecting and redistributing them.”
She leaned forward, her expression grim. “Who?”
“I don’t know yet,” I admitted, frustration lacing my tone. “But whoever it is, they’re organized. They know exactly where to plant these things to cause the most chaos. Packs are turning on each other. Wolves are going feral. And it’s spreading.”
