But Aria merely glanced up, and a shadowy figure swiftly darted across, perching on Leif's shoulder. It was Nyx. Though it seemed cute and innocent around Aria, its true nature was terrifying. Just by attaching to someone, their laughter could send chills down everyone's spine. Leif froze. He looked toward Kieran. Vengeful spirits like Nyx were born from heaven and earth, and they were the most dangerous to deal with. Nyx had been abandoned by its birth mother, so it was not just any regular spirit. It had transformed into a Malathran since ancient times. The resentment within it would never disappear as long as humans existed, and it could potentially transform into the Shadowlord.

I have to agree with him on this one. “And look at that one dude hovering over the fire like he’s the shit or something.” I choked on my spit. “Ugh… Nix, that is the god of the dragons, Typhon.” Nix stepped back nervously and rubbed the back of his neck.
