I Faked Being a Boy, Now the Alpha is my Mate

I Faked Being a Boy, Now the Alpha is my Mate

Amberly stepped back, genuine fear flashing across her face. "It’s an antidote." Dumping the contents of the first sack onto the counter, dried red roots tumbled out. "Blood-root. Ash-leaf. And crushed obsidian." "Obsidian is glass, Jordan!" "It binds to the silver." Gathering the roots, I grabbed a heavy stone mortar and pestle from the kitchen shelf. "It scrapes the poison out of your cells so you can sweat it out. I'm not going to lie to you, Amberly. This is going to hurt."

The Companion And The Hidden System

The Companion And The Hidden System

Riley let the screen fade and brought up his inventory instead, his attention moving over what he’d picked up from the ogres. There was more there than he’d realised at first. Most of it was low-grade, the kind of materials that didn’t stand out individually but added up when you looked at them together. Ironleaf Ore. Dusk Shard. Rootstone Fragment. Blackgrain Slag. Nothing special. Then the others caught his eye. Moonsteel Fragment. Vein Crystal. Black Sap Core. Those were different. Not just rarer. They had a glow around them. Riley frowned slightly as he opened the forge design again, reading through the requirements properly this time, slower than before, letting each line settle instead

My Mate Has Two Wolves

My Mate Has Two Wolves

the old craftsman asked me with a smile. I nodded and took out two pieces of broken obsidian wrapped in a piece of tissue with great care. "Can it be repaired?" The old craftsman took the two pieces of obsidian and looked at them carefully under the light. He suddenly smiled. "I've seen this before... Maybe years ago. I don't know if it's the same piece." "You have seen a similar one before?" I was surprised at first, and then I asked anxiously, "Do you still remember the person who brought it to you?"

Romeo and Julius

Romeo and Julius

When Romeo and his personal guard reach the top of the small elevation, Romeo sees his family's mausoleum for the first time. He had never imagined that a mausoleum could be such a beautiful and calm place. It looked like a small house with no windows but a gold-plated door. It was made of a black, shiny stone he didn't recognize. He touched it, and it was cold, smooth and polished like a mirror. - It's obsidian. Some people say that when we stare into an obsidian mirror, we sometimes see what we don't want to see. Sometimes we see our future, other times our past.

The Dark Forest: The Lycan King’s Fated Mate

The Dark Forest: The Lycan King’s Fated Mate

Each filled with something different. The first contains black earth gathered from deep beneath Lycan territory. The second holds shimmering water from the fae rivers said to carry old magic. The third contains silver ash blessed by witches centuries ago. The fourth holds ancient vampire blood preserved from the first royal line. And the final bowl.. A piece I feel connected to quite deeply.. Inside rests a small jagged fragment of obsidian stone veined faintly with gold. Azriel notices my stare. “The throne stone,” he says quietly. “From the original kingdom.”

Mate’s revenge

Mate’s revenge

As Dominick stood over the broken remains of the Obsidian Stone, anxiousness filled the meadow. The black energy surging with an unrestrained intensity has caused the once-powerful relic to rip apart. The earth shook under him, and the earth itself appeared to vibrate with a profound, unearthly pulsation. Now that it was free, the artifact started to emit energy waves that caused everything around to become unstable. A black storm of magic threatened to devour all in its path as it crackled in the air.

THE LUNA’S ASCENSION

THE LUNA’S ASCENSION

“They were meant to keep intruders out.” “Or perhaps to keep something in,” she replied, her tone laced with foreboding. Mason grunted as he examined the entrance. “Let’s hope it’s the former.” With a deep breath, we stepped inside, our footsteps echoing in the silence. The air was thick with the scent of damp earth and something else… something ancient. And as we ventured deeper, the shadows seemed to press in on us, an almost tangible weight. Finally, we reached the heart of the crypt. There, on a pedestal, lay a shard of obsidian, dark as midnight, pulsing with a faint, otherworldly glow. The Obsidian Tear.

Fractured

Fractured

Luke asks, drawing everyone’s attention back to the task. “Here,” Robert says, picking up a fancy-looking wooden box. He opens it to reveal an iron branding rod and four small glass vials containing what I assume are the powdered gemstones he spoke of. There’s also a small granite pestle and mortar in the box. “Okay, great, grab anything else you think is important, and I’ll have the rest collected and brought back to headquarters,” Raff says. My group scramble to collect paperwork and books before we port back to headquarters with our haul.

Started reading this book two days ago, and damnnnnnn!! It’s such a breath of fresh air NOT knowing what’s going to happen next. I love how original this book is. Sadly, I’m all caught up so far, can’t wait for it to be complete, definitely a book I’d reread many times! <3

I know this has been touched on so I guess I'm just not getting it. I just finished chapter 367 and I don't know if I should expect more (or when). I kinda feel like I'm left hanging with Harper not having all of her bonds together. btw love the book!

Bound to the Obsidian Alpha

Bound to the Obsidian Alpha

Her gaze lingered on the mark on my wrist. “Show me,” she said. I held out my arm. She traced the crescent scar with one finger. It flared with heat under her touch. “Ancient,” she murmured. “The Obsidian Curse. The same darkness that nearly destroyed this pack years ago. It sleeps inside her… but it’s waking.” Kael’s entire body went rigid beside me. “Can it be removed?” he asked, voice tight. Selene shook her head. “Not without killing her. The mark and the girl are bound together. She is the vessel. But she may also be the key to finally ending it.”

The Way of the Dragon

Hence, many did not care too much about it. “Indeed. Mount Ashok often spills out lava, which over time, hardens into a very valuable material — Ashok Obsidian. Ashok Obsidian itself is capable of containing and harnessing intense heat, were I to add this to the metal, it would no doubt be combined into a legendary weapon of alloy-make!”
