But my optimism was dwindling. Fox brought the box over to the rickety table we sat at the night before, and waved her hands around it as if to say, “ta-da!” The stone floor against my bare feet sent a quick chill up my spine as I inspected the box. It was white cardboard, with a insignia of a blue eye stamped on the sides. As I reached for it a familiar smell hit my nose, I crinkled it in disgust. “VIXEN!” Fox yelled out swatting the air around her.

I continued, "but the beast isn't a monster. He's a kind and gentle soul who's been cursed by the Goddess. As I yelled, a loud yell could be heard from inside the castle, causing the people to stare in fear. I watched as they gazed up, and I saw the beast emerge from his castle and start walking towards us. The men around me were freaking out, but I stood still, unable to look away from the creature's approach. I could sense the sadness in his eyes as he looked at me.

I smiled, wondering what mayhem they were about to unleash. "Well, it's a secret fantasy among the she wolves in our pack about the size of Axios, you know," she said, laughing in between while Kiara was busy giggling. I stared from Kiara to Amy, trying to get what the gist was all about, but I just couldn't. "I don't get you," I said, looking at both of them, confused as fuck. "You know he is huge and all; we were fantasizing about his size down there," she said, winking and pointing downward.

His eyes glow like molten orange embers and I feel a wave of heat radiating from his body and intoxicating me with his presence. His gaze is like a powerful vortex, sucking me in and I struggle to look away, feeling I am being dragged to the depths of an abyss. He is not content until our eyes lock again and he places his hand under my chin, lifting my head so that I am staring up into those burning embers once more. What mysterious creature is he? A man? A beast? A god? What power does he hold over me? “What are you doing?!” I gasp, my voice trembling as he towers over me.

He used a spell to make some of the dead animals lighter and carried them till he got back to the tent where the king was seated lazily being massaged by a maid. “Oh Lord Xavier you have finally returned, your gains are far too impressive I see. I managed to catch a rabbit who had broken a leg before and it was so much work I was exhausted” Alfred commented when he sighted him with around 10 dead animals in his possession ranging from rabbits to deers. Xavier resisted the urge to roll his eyes and instead turned to the guards and instructed, “There are still a lot back there, I gathered them in a heap, just go straight north and you will see them”
