I scoffed in disgust and a little bit of jealousy before I turned my attention back to Kieran’s annoying Beta. “You heard your Luna, dress code is not compulsory,” I said. “She will never be my Luna,” X proclaimed in a low tone and walked away. “You do not like her?” I asked. “Lady Thorne is not fit to be the Luna of the House of Modric.” X said. “Keep your voice down, she might hear you,” I cautioned. “I am not bothered by what she thinks or knows about me, she met me here and she will leave me here.” X said with pride.

She wore a black velvet dress and she had her shoulders raised in pride like she believed the whole world owed her everything. “I am Liora Vexen” she said in a cool tone, as she knelt down, her breath brushing slightly against my face, “I am the future Luna of this pack.” My heart picked up its pace. “I see the way you look at him.” She whispered, smiling mischievously. “you are a pathetic little thing who dares to dream.” “I….I didn't” I croaked, trying to explain.

“But the truth is I'm not really here for Kael, I'm here for you.” My breath hitched. “I wonder what will happen when people find out about you,” she threatened. “Kael wouldn't let you.” She nodded in agreement. “I found out that Orion and Kael are mortal enemies,” her voice drops. “You are my ticket to victory.” “What do you mean?” She placed a hand on my lips. “You'll see, but let me give you some heads up, I will be the Luna of the Lycan Lord and that's my promise to you, Xena.”

Then she strips and shifts into her wolf, she is so beautiful my own wolf wants to shift and stand by her side but I can’t I have to let her do this on her own and I will have to convey her message to her parents. We stand back and wait hoping and praying to the Goddess to help him while Octavia stands firm eyes a swirl of colours, she must be trying to use her elements to get through to him. Warren stops screaming and his bones stop breaking he crouches on the ground drenched in sweat, panting. “What’s happening.” Xavier asks. “She’s using her Luna dominance to make his wolf recede.” I tell him. I can sense her dominance from back here or maybe I can just feel it through the bond.

Octava. No. It couldn’t be. The King rose from his throne, his voice echoing through the grand chamber. “Tonight, we crown our daughter, the lost princess of the Lycan Kingdom, Octava Valen. Heir to the royal bloodline, bearer of the moonmark.” The hall erupted in applause. But I didn’t hear it. My heartbeat drowned everything out. She turned slightly then, her eyes sweeping over the crowd. For a second, a single, fleeting second, our gazes met.

The lady asks. "What news?" He coldly answers. "Edward has a Luna, and you won't believe who it is?" [Jubilantly] "It's an Omega." [Scoffs] "Why am I not surprised? He has always been a weakling." "Well, don't you think this is the perfect time to launch an attack and crush him?" she devilishly mutters.

My mind raced as I strained to hear more. "Yes, Mom," Selena replied, her voice cool and confident, nothing like the emotional tone she had used with me. "I made an act of fighting with him only to see how much he really cares for me. I have been manipulating him all along. He doesn’t know that I don’t love him. I just want to become the Luna of the Blood Moon pack." My blood ran cold. My fists clenched at my sides, rage bubbling up inside me. Manipulating me? Leo growled, fury rolling through me. I wanted to storm back into the house, confront her and demand answers.

Fiona’s POV "Loreen is now 18 years old. It's time to bring her and conduct our ceremony. Leena, you will go and bring her," said Fiona, as she rose from her throne and moved towards the young woman bowed close to her. "Yes, my lady," said Leena. She turned around and walked out of the throne room. "Laura, is everything ready for the ritual?" asked Fiona.

The Luna had no omegas that she could trust to assist Raven so she had let her choose the attendants she wanted instead. This means the Luna is also aware that none of the omegas like Raven. She must have known that everyone supports Raven which is why she couldn’t choose Raven’s omegas for her. “Where’s the other one?” Celia asked back knowing that they are supposed to have three attendants and she’s only seeing two. “She only has two attendants, miss. Alec stepped forward. “Listen here, Peter. I am your fucking Luna and you will do exactly as I say. Disrespect me one more time and I will not hesitate to put you in your place.” I knew my aura was out. The camp had gotten quiet as they watched the exchange. Peter was on his knees. Holding his nose, he looked up at me. “Yes, Luna.” “Great, get back to work.” Pulling back my aura, Peter got up and left without looking at Alec.
