1st Death

1st Death

I almost calmed down; until I looked at Marge's face. Nothing. Albert slowly opened his eyes. He blinked several times then looked at his phone. "6:54. 1st of"-his eyes opened wide-"July!?" Albert exclaimed. "I thought June has 31 days!" he hurriedly stood up, grabbed a flask filled with vodka from his bag and raised it as a form of a toast. "Rabbit, rabbit, rabbit!" he downed the bottle and got ready to face the new month before him as the ominous dream he just had lingers around his conscious during the entirety of his breakfast.

The First of My Kind

The First of My Kind

Novels, grimoires, Shakespeare, Edgar Allan Poe, Emily Dickinson. Wait, what? The Emily Dickinson? She hid most of her poems until the day she died, but looking at this book, holding it, it feels like everything she had written is in here. It's a lot, there were still poems of her that I haven't read yet, I never knew about its existence until now. I quickly opened the book and the pages were amazing, you know that scent of old books? This one has it, that one familiar scent of home, of comfortability, of coffee in the early morning while it's raining. I stopped on a particular poem, one I've read over and over again. I'm Nobody! Who are you?

The Stranger Who Stayed:When Fate Knocks Once

He read back through the year. He did not do this often — the notes were written forward, the hand following the eye, the thinking-in-progress preserved without the editing of retrospect. But once a year, on the last day of October, he reads back. He had been doing this since the fourth year, when he had read back through three Octobers' worth of notes and had understood for the first time what the record contained. He read the year. He read: January. The simplest version said. The foundation was named. Everything rises from here.

The First of Her Kind

The First of Her Kind

It was just another quiet day on the eastern borders of Bloodmoon. Andrew stood guard with the rest of the border patrol, anticipating the arrival of his Alpha and father. Suddenly, the distant rumble of a stampede reached their ears, and they immediately took a defensive stance. But as the figures came into view, their tension transformed into pure and utter elation. There was their Alpha, flanked by two Betas, leading a triumphant procession of wolves.

I don’t leave reviews often but when I do it is because an author has done an exceptional job at writing a story that draws you in. This story is one of the best I’ve read on this forum from plot to character development, this story although part of a werewolf trope stands out among the rest!

This is a really beautiful book: very well written with a great plot. The descriptions are intricate & characters complex and loveable. This book deserves to be a paperback! It’s so pleasant to enjoy a gripping story with no grammar or syntactic issues. My favourite book on this platform so far!
