Officer Barbrady Novels & Stories

“You! You prick! You stole him from me! I saw you—I saw you kissing him at the motel and I wanted to set this whole fucking town on fire! Fuck you!” The cop who had been reciting him his rights finished and said, “Well, that pretty much wraps that up. Are you done confessing here, or can we get the rest at the station?” “Fuck you too,” snapped Brad. “Yeah, sure, kid,” said the officer, rolling his eyes. “Tell it to the judge.” The officer noticed Tom. “Hey, I’m Jake. Are you Tom?” “Yeah, why?” “The chief has been asking if you were here yet. He’s through that back door.” Jake gestured towards the kitchen.

I chuckled, still looking at him. "That you certainly do." He smiled. He knows exactly when to say the right things, what tone and facial expression to use and everything. Brinda had come back with a smile on her face just as the officer did. "The judge is ready." Alessandro held the doors open for Brinda and I but as other people were about to come he let the doors close. We sat back in our respective seats, "All rise." We stood up and sat back down once the judge was settled. "We'd like to call our first witness. The officer who responded to the alleged incident, Brandon Barnes."

A junior officer stood at the door, silent but watchful, arms crossed. "You’ve had quite a night, Miss Anderson," Detective Hargrove began, his tone measured but edged with authority. "Attempted murder, illegal possession of a firearm, and let’s not forget the outstanding charges we’ve got on file for your previous escapades. I’m sure you’re familiar with the name Chelsea Bradley?" Savannah scoffed, her lips curling into a bitter smile. "You think I care about your accusations?"

Barry gave a perfunctory nod before asking “Am I free to take my client away?” Officer in charge waved his hand dismissively with a lazy attitude before turning his attention towards his paperwork.

At all, actually. The officer nodded. "With him living here, I don't blame you. Not exactly a friendly neighborhood." The officer's real name was Mark Rochester, and he began to piss Rhychard off. It was as if the murder bored the officer. It was just another day in the Bottoms, life with the drug addicts and hookers. His partner, Officer Burke, was busy hanging crime scene tape around Karl's house from the front of the dilapidated structure to the river where Briggs's body remained sprawled over the boulders, his right hand bobbing in the water.

“Good morning. My name is officer Brooks and my partner here is officer Carmine. We are handling your case Miss Grey and have read the report that was filed by the responding officers. Are you ready to tell us your version of events?” Officer Brooks is a middle-aged man with brown hair that has a little grey showing above his ears. He has crow’s feet around his eyes and laughter lines around his mouth which tells me that although he is serious about his job, he has a softer side that he shows to those closest to him and I warm to him immediately. His partner is younger, and her green eyes show empathy for me and my case. She is slim in comparison to his portly stature as well as blonde with

The maids jumped into the living room as they heard his voice tearing down the house and they began to watch with curiosity written all over their faces. Natasha walked over to him and took the photograph from his hand slowly. "It is happening," she muttered inaudibly as a smirk appeared on her face. "Officer, we need to go get her right now! She's on the island, living happily in my mansion!" Adrian cried as he began to pace around the room. "Okay sir, we will summon the men," the officers said as they dashed out immediately. "Nat, Vivian, look over my baby. We are going to hunt down Barbara. I'm feeding her body to the vultures tonight," he said amidst pants.

He said and ended the call. Just as he said, his driver, a middle-aged man with grey hair named Adam West, arrived thirty minutes later. He didn't say much to her; he had only introduced himself to her and already seemed to know who she was. After settling and signing the needed documents, Officer Jackson, who was still on duty, returned her items, which the police had confiscated yesterday. Adam took the items from Lydia's hands and walked her out of the station and towards the Rolls-Royce parked nearby.

A hammer struck my heart. Stupid. So stupid. They clearly had connections I didn't know about—far more power than I'd imagined. Their reach was everywhere. Escape was impossible. Just as I resigned myself to my fate, Adrian took my hand and led me, dazed and defeated, out of the station. A female officer brushed past me and slipped a USB drive into my palm. I snapped back to my senses. I hid it quickly. When we returned, I opened the file. The officer was an undercover agent embedded in Brayeland's police force.

Chapter 1 Stepping in All of the Barbara’s men were around Bria's condo. They were all cleaning the crime that happened inside. Wiping my twin sister's blood and carrying the body of Bria out of the room. They were making sure that no one gets to know what happened yet, concealing the truth. “My goodness,” it was my mother, Britney Barbara. “Who did this to our daughter? Who?!”
