So he let the two plainclothes officers in and led them to the kitchen where heÕd been sitting brooding over a cup of coffee. ÒHow you holding up, Gil? You doing okay?Ó Officer Bailey asked the other man while Detective Sparks looked on. She had a soft spot for the poor guy whoÕd lost his wife in such a way. After sheÕd ran him through the system and questioned the neighbors and those around who knew the couple, the picture that unfolded had all but broke her heart.

They were on high alert, rightfully so. Azzo and I shoved our way through the large mass of reporters, journalists, and cameramen. When we reached the barricade line two of the officers approached us with their hands up to stop us. One’s name plate read ‘Stills’ and the other’s read, ‘Barren.’ Officer Stills was a middle aged Caucasian male with a thick ginger mustache and the hair on his head matched. An explosion of freckles covered his cheeks and brought out the green of his eyes. It was clear he had a habit of eating high carb meals for breakfast because he had quite the stomach bulge on him.

Jace said, looking at the man's direction. "Mr Bratkowski, good to see you again." Mr Wyatt said. He got up and embraced Jace's hand. Jace's gaze then turned to the officer, who was in his casual outfit now. "Officer -" "Officer Copland. You can call me Bryan." Bryan said as he took Jace's hand into a hand shake. Jace nods in acknowledgement. "So, what do we have here?" Jace asked as he also sat down on an empty seat.

He stretched his hand for a handshake "Good afternoon Mr. Velvet, I'm officer Derek and this is my colleague Sharon" I know he expected me to smile at them or offer a handshake but I just stared at them, my face concealing every emotion. Baron almost snickered beside me at how embarrassed the officers looked. "I know you have questions concerning what happened here, why don't we skip the pleasantries and get straight to business, although I doubt if I'll be of any help since I just arrived myself" "We want to take a look at the CCTV footage" Sharon said trying to sound all tough.

“I’m Officer Stewart from the LAPD, Crime Branch. We need a statement, Mr. Laurier.” The police officer in charge of the investigation sat down to record Maddox’s statement. It had been an hour since he had returned home from the hospital, and now he had to cope with the cops.

The officer studied her for a moment… then stood. “Alright.” She wasn’t talking. Well not today. Down the hall... Bradley was already falling apart. The officer stepped in, closing the door behind him, taking his time. “Bradley…” he said casually. “You look like you need something.” Bradley shook his head quickly. “No… I’m good.” The officer raised a brow, stepping closer. “I don’t think so.” Bradley’s hands twitched. Scratching at his arm. Trying to stay still.

she greeted the middle-aged officer. He scanned her before he responded, "Good morning, Young lady. I am Bar. John Robert. Kindly have your seat," he ushered. "Thank you for the offer, Bar. Robert. I am Aurora Richie," she stated and sat down while the officer waited for her to speak. She took a deep breath and began her one-sided story. Afterward, the Barrister asked her, "What do you want to Agency to do for you?" "Thank you for the question. I want the Agency to make him take responsibility by marrying me."

Just as I made to speak to Sergei, a voice came from behind. “Mr Ivanov. I’d say it's a pleasure but we both know I’d be lying.” I sighed. “Fucking fantastic.” We all turned to see a man approaching. Tall, lean, cropped hair and sharp hazel eyes that had a look of warning in them. Decked out in police uniform, his badge flashing as he approached. Officer Matthew Brooks. One of Manhattan's most corrupt cops. He never missed out on an opportunity to tuck a little extra cash into his coffers. In exchange for “burying evidence.”

30 “Holy shit, my girl nearly beat her stalker to death!” Brady exclaimed. He bounced excitedly across the pavement, escorting Sidney down the street from the police station. Sidney chuckled to herself and picked at the clothes that were not hers, a strange folded stack the officer provided when collecting her clothing as evidence. The cloth rubbed against her skin in unfamiliar patterns, draped from her shoulders in foreign angles. “Brady, stop,” Jordan scolded from Sidney’s other side. “This is not something to celebrate.”

Lewis said. The door swung open aggressively. Standing there was Barbie in her silk pajamas and messy hair framing her annoyed face. The moment she saw Lewis, her face contoured with fierce anger. “What the fuck are you doing here?” she spat. Lewis pointed at her dramatically. “See? This is exactly the energy I’m talking about.” Then Barbie noticed the officers. “What’s this?” she asked, pointing at them. The male officer spoke calmly. “Miss Barbara Bennett?” “Yes?” Barbie answered with a nonchalant attitude.
