I manage to not display a frowning face for her, I fake a smile and said, "oh yes I heard, congrats, that's nice" She laughed, that kind of laugh you hear with your evil sister, and retorted, "Becca, I don't mean to be rude, but knowing Reid? Do you think he'll stick to you? come on, Reid is a born womanizer, and for three years we've been on and off and he keeps coming back to me after playing with some girl, oh I'm not saying he is playing with you my dear, but I'm telling you now, you better know which flame you are touching, maybe it's too hot for you to handle, here comes my coffee, see you"

She was wearing a hair bonnet so all she flipped was air. “ Now you are getting sassy? I hope you keep this confidence when I finally have you screaming under me” He said in a cool manner but she could hear the threat in his tone. She brushed it off getting more and more confident. “ If I don't know better then I might be scared right now. But no, we both know you are all bark and no bite” She said and he gasp, nodding his head at her words. He is so going to crumple this confidence like a piece of paper.

I asked and she looked at me before looking back at the door and shaking her head. “Your fucking with me right” I ask and she looked at me confused “Naomi I know we havent known each other that long but I see you as the kind of person with a ton of confidence and this is only one obstacle and one you can definetly overcome” I said encouragingly. She slowly nodded letting out a shaky breath, it was weird seeing her so nervous when normally she was so outspoken on her options “you got this” I whispered patting her shoulders before stepping back.

“You mean… for the shoot?” He nodded, eyes steady on hers. “You’ve seen what happens when you let go a little,” he said quietly. “Imagine what it would feel like to see yourself completely confident. In your body. No fear. No apology. Just you.” Her throat went dry. It wasn’t what he said that scared her, it was how much she wanted to say yes. Noah noticed her silence and softened. “Hey. No pressure. If it’s too much, we stop. Easy.”

Putting a finger in my ear to open it after it had been blocked by her nonsense chattering. She huffed, picking up the papers. The smile vanished, followed by her eyes going wide with shock. She flipped the first page, the second, and began leaving through them violently. She scoffed on anger, testing the entire papers to shreds.

"By grinding on a stranger?" "By owning your power," she said seriously. "By knowing you can drive someone crazy if you want to. Not because you'll do it with Bobby right away. But because you'll have the confidence." I looked back at the booth where the blonde guy was still sitting, looking confused and still obviously aroused. "This is stupid," I said. "So was everything else we've done. Walking practice was stupid. Makeup lessons were stupid. The dress was stupid. But look at you now." She had a point. Everything felt stupid and scary until it didn't.

"You have to have confidence; otherwise, this will all be for nothing." Gabby stops walking, takes a deep breath in, straightens her back and looks me dead in the eyes. "Confidence." She repeats back to me, smiling brightly as if all her self-doubt never even existed. It was as if I just unlocked her ultimate superpower, reminding her of who she truly is. Gabby has never been a wallflower; she is outspoken, energetic, and when she sets her sights on a target, she will stop at nothing until she gets what she wants.

Instead, she tilted her head and narrowed her gaze at my hands. "No, you’re not jobless," she suddenly said, and I narrowed my eyes at her. Her confidence caught me off guard as I blinked. "What do you mean?"
